As of putting the first words to this page Season 6 of Game of Thrones is coming out in two weeks. Â
That’s just 14 days for those of you who needed some extra help.
If we were the characters of Game of Thrones in real life this might be a little easy for us, our bulks or dirty bulks might line up perfectly in time for winter to come. Â Unfortunately, that is not the case.
Summer is coming…
Am I allowed to say that?
So what have you guys been up to? I guess I owe a bit of an explanation of what I’ve been doing before we get into the rest of the article – am I right?
Well, whatever…I’ll do it anyway.
Originally I was going to take a break from the site because I decided to go back to school while coaching and get a bachelors in English/Journalism. The site eats up a lot of time, mainly because when I’m involved with it I tend to get really into it and always look for ways to improve it. That being said, the site went down completely (some break, huh?), because I didn’t realize I got a credit card number and the hosting company wasn’t getting paid. Apparently they don’t like that. One random day I decided to check the Facebook messages and my SuperheroJacked email, and found that a ton of you guys had lost your workout routines and were also craving more.
From there I immediately brought the site back up and decided I would start working on it slowly while in school. Why should the site come down completely just because I don’t know how to just devote some time to it? That doesn’t seem right. More importantly though, I’m back, and I’ll be posting articles more slowly than I used to, but at least the site is completely up and running!
What I’m currently up to
Aside from school and coaching, I’ll skip right ahead into what I’ve been up to as far as training.
I’ve been training at a high volume even throughout school and everything else going on, so my numbers are actually looking pretty decent. I recently took a trip to Miami during my spring break though, and realize I don’t think I’m exactly ready for summer (based on my visual standards). Sooooo, that leads me to this article. It’s time to cut.
I’ve been following a pretty fun routine: Mon-Wed-Fri are my compound days, lifting heavy and fitting accessory work in with them, and then Tues-Thurs-Sat are my full body days, which also include abs.
My Current Stats
Height(this hasn’t changed unfortunately): 5’6
Weight: 190 lbs.
Deadlift: 450 lbs.
Bench Press: 315 lbs.
Squat: 300 lbs. (Full Disclosure: I haven’t been squatting heavy, and my third compound day is often devoted to Shoulder Press.)
Shoulder Press: 225 lbs.
Why am I bringing up Game of Thrones?
Two, I’m stoked for it to start and can barely wait any longer.
Three, and possibly most importantly, I’m going to check back in with weight and changes (possibly even with a bodyfat reading) in stats.
By the way, I’d like to go on record admitting that I would have more than likely chosen a cover with a ripped up Game of Thrones [male] body (like we see in the Khal Drogo Jason Momoa Workout Routine), but it seems that the women of GOT are taking over!  So, staying fair, Sansa seems to do a good job filling the cover.  😛
Let me repeat number three for those of you who missed that: Â I’m going to be checking in two weeks into the cut to go over progress and discuss how I feel.
Who else is cutting? Â Will you be joining me?
I could have obviously just done a short article here and then checked in two weeks from now and told you guys I’ve been cutting. Â I could have also just waited to see how the cut was going before putting out there I was starting (HA! Probably would have been smarter, eh?).
The purpose for me coming right out and making it a point to put this in front of you is because I’d like to invite you to start with me.
