Welcome to the first ever SHJ Book Club!

I hope you’re as excited as I am, and the members of The Academy seem to be.

I’ll start by telling you how this will work.

Current Book Club Guidelines:

Everyone is welcome.

Each month we will vote for a book inside The Academy. The vote will be based around book and genre suggestions from the entire SHJ Army (who we hope will get involved)!

On the first of the month I will put out an article, similar to this one, announcing the book choice for Book Club. I will also share in on social media outlets (Facebook, Insta, Pinterest). And, of course, the first Wednesday or Saturday of the month (first newsletter email of the month), I will tell the entire SHJ Army.

The comment section will open and discussion can begin to talk WITHOUT SPOILERS on the first article (this one).

Please comment if you’re getting involved and even introduce yourself if you’d like!

After I finish the book I will post a second article with my thoughts and overall review of the book. That will start the second part of discussion, and therefore the heart of the Book Club discussion.

Don’t read that second article until you’ve read the book. There will be spoilers in my review, and in the comment section.

The second article comment section will be where the real Book Club discussion takes place.

Without further ado, here’s out book choice for October 2018 (if you couldn’t tell by now):

Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
