This one is coming straight from our research for his Captain America workout routine and diet.
So if you’re looking to bulk up, this one is for you, because Evans tacked on a ton of mass for his initial role in Captain America: The First Avenger.
It was like he really took some Super Soldier Serum and came out looking huge!
In our original Chris Evans Workout Routine and Diet Plan article we had a ton of information (including the diet I’ll share below) right from his trainer Waterman.
Here’s what he had to say about Evan’s diet:
‘The biggest challenge for Chris was eating enough to put on muscle but avoid storing any excess energy as fat,’ says Waterson. ‘We relied on low-carb protein shakes in between meals and snacks such as fruit and nuts.
Which makes things a bit more confusing than they need to be if we know enough about calorie counting/tracking macros, but for the most part that’s a big factor in everyone’s bulking and cutting!

Breakfast: Bowl of porridge with dark berries and walnuts

Pre-workout snack: Apple with almonds
Post-workout snack: Protein shake and 5g BCAA
20min later: Chicken salad with brown basmati rice
Afternoon snack: Protein shake
Dinner: Lean protein, such as fish, chicken or beef, with vegetables. No starchy carbs.
