Columbiana recently blew up on Netflix and was one of the top five most watched among all movies/shows in the United States.
And Zoe Saldana is not just Gamora…she’s MUCH more than that.
Saldana has also starred in Star Trek, Columbiana (obviously), and Avatar!!!
So basically she’s a Nerd Queen.
BUT, she’s also a mother who has shown off her post-pregnancy weight loss with a killer physique that ladies who are part of The SHJ Army want to learn from.
Thankfully for us, she’s open to sharing a lot of that information not just on her own Instagram, but also in interviews.
Saldana has shared a full day of eating and a ton of information that we’re going to be using to not only give you a full day meal plan, but also discuss some of the other principles she follows to keep that slim and gorgeous physique.
We went over most of this on our original Zoe Saldana Workout Routine and Diet Plan, which also includes her training styles that we learned in our research, but now it’s time to focus in on the nutrition.
In an interview with Bon Appetit she says:
“Having green makeup on for my role as Gamora, an alien assassin and wanting to have soup is really hard. If that soup lands on your chin, and all that green makeup smears off, it takes forever to fix it.”
And in an interview with Shape she goes on to say:
Shape: What’s on a typical daily menu?
SM: A typical example for anyone of my clients would be oatmeal made with almond milk, chia seeds, dried banana, mango, pineapple, and macadamia nuts for breakfast as well as a home made protein shake with organic Whey protein for a snack. The lunches and dinners are always balanced meals. Some examples might be a lentil salad with chopped vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, and raisins; a buckwheat noodle salad with chicken and vegetables; or a turkey burger with baked yams and green vegetable.
How awesome is that?
Clearly Saldana is making extremely healthy choices throughout the course of her day.
