What I need you to know before we even start this review is that I might be a little biased to Disney themed books.
I'm a HUGE Disney fan, so it would be like me reviewing anything Harry Potter related being that I also have a dark mark tattoo...
I mean we even literally just started our Disney Inspired Workout/Diet Plans on the site as well, if you don't believe me!
But, if you can get past that, and you still want to know what I think of the book - then stick around and read through this review. Because I'm ready to tell you what I thought.
It was definitely magical.

Here's the thing: if you're okay with a read that's going to mix nostalgic Disney feeling of "Once Upon A Time" into a book that can be read by teens, adults, and even the possibility of a bed time read with your kids - then this book is for you.
If you're looking for a book that get's a little bit more advanced (although in my opinion advancing the language definitely doesn't automatically advance the quality), than maybe you're looking for something else.
Another big factor in this one is the genre it's in...if that wasn't obvious.
I think that goes for most books, but actually possibly even more-so this type.
What I mean by that is: if I was to pick this up and just read it without knowing anything about Maleficent, Snow White, or even Disney, I think I would definitely enjoy it - but not nearly as much as I did.
I think regardless of the level the book is at, it is definitely an amazing quick read for the advanced reader, or an equally amazing read for teen and young adult. There are plenty of twists and turns for either reader to stay thoroughly engaged, while still be simplistic enough to be a nice and easy read through.
Not only will I be continuing through Serena Valentino's Villains Series, but I believe I will even be now venturing into the Cinder Series (Lunar Chronicles) as well. This book got me back on the Young Adult kick, with the help of Children of Blood and Bone - but I think I'll see what else Disney type stories can work up.
I'm giving this one a 5 out of 5. If you're a Disney fan I believe you'll do the same. If not, I think it's still a fun enough, and quick read, to get a high score.
I'm curious to see what you guys have to think!
My next read will be within The Villains Series and The Cinder Series (Lunar Chronicles). If you're looking to follow along and want specifics, leave some comments below!

Review Conclusion
Really, really fun read. Disney fans have to pick this one up, and anyone who is interested in a quick and fun read with some twists, turns and deeper meaning to look into, should do so as well. You might just fall in love with these Disney themed novels!
