This definitely isn’t the first time we’re seeing Mark Wahlberg here at SHJ.
Actually, it’s not even the first time we’re featuring Wahlberg’s diet plan, either…
In our original Mark Wahlberg Workout Routine and Diet Plan article we researched Wahlberg in and out from top to bottom and from old school bodybuilding to all the other guinea pig methods we could find for what we was doing at the time of research.
Obviously we also updates articles here at SHJ on a daily basis, but we’ve also been adding new and updated content consistently and have even seen Mark Wahlberg’s F45 Workout Circuit recently.
That being said: this will be the first time EVER that we host a celebrity diet plan outside of all of our celebrity articles that we normally feature within our Workout Database.
Each celebrity workout also comes with nutrition research, but just as our celebrities update their workouts, they’re also updating their nutrition to go with their lifestyle changes and goals as well!
So, it’s time to start building our Celebrity Meal Plan Database as well!
And who better to start it off than Mark Wahlberg!  He’ll even be joined with Dwayne Johnson this week, who we have obviously seen with our Dwayne Johnson Workout Routine and Diet Plan article, as well as our Dwayne Johnson Hercules Workout!
But, okay, enough hype, let’s talk about how Mark Wahlberg lost 10 lbs. in 5 days using a bone broth fast!
In an interview with Ellen he explained:
“I was kind of from the old school, bodybuilding philosophy that you had to eat all this ridiculous amounts of protein,” he said. “I was eating every three hours, but the last movie that I did, I started having some issues because of eating so much.
“I was eating so much protein, I was storing it and using it other than building lean muscle, so I was getting a leaky gut, so I just literally did a bone broth fast.”
He made sure to mention that it wasn’t all incredible by saying:
“First day, nobody wanted to be around me,” he said. “I was miserable. Then I started having more energy.
And in an interview with Entertainment Tonight he said even more that will help us try this out.
Here’s what Wahlberg tells them:
“I just did a bone broth and a fast and a cleanse and I literally lost 10 pounds in five days. I lost five percent body fat and I lost 20 points of visceral fat literally in five days. Just bone broth and steamed vegetables after the first three days and then a little bit of protein at night and that was it,” he continued.
