Meh, honestly, you probably won’t even last trying to tell HER she doesn’t deserve a spot.
Either way, we’re going to be basing this article off what Natalie Portman does on a regular basis to stay fit NOW, and what she utilized to portray her roles. Â That being said, if you want to unleash your inner Padme or Jane Foster, or heck, even an overly committed ballerina (Black Swan), you’ve come to the right spot.

Natalie Portman Diet and Nutrition
EOnline gives us some insight to her Black Swan diet here:
“It’s very extreme,” he says. “The diets are not healthy. There are a lot of food and calorie restrictions, lots of coffee and cigarettes to keep the weight down. The body is restricting calories, the pressure of competition is intense. All day she trained.”
Brace says Portman took no shortcuts. The actress herself has admitted she was “barely eating” to get into character. “I was barely eating, I was working 16 hours a day,” she told the Daily Mail.
And, while it’s very interesting, it’s just for us to speculate and not utilize. Â As Brace, celebrity fitness guru, tells us, the diet is extreme and not healthy. Â For that exact reason, we’ll be sticking to more of a lean and healthy version of eating that Portman utilizes throughout her everyday life.

Sharing her secret to luminous skin, Natalie told Yahoo, “Diet is a big part of it. I’m vegan, and I drink a lot of water. If I have dairy, I break out immediately. Â All the baked goods are made with butter, so I don’t have croissants either, which is a challenge,” explains Natalie.
Alright, so we learn a lot here!!!  Not only is Portman hitting on the fact that we need to drink a lot of water (we knew that, right?), but she also fills us in on the fact that she is a vegan (<- SHJ vegan guidelines), also cutting the dairy completely from her diet.

Natalie Portman Workout Routine Research
The majority of the research that can be done on Natalie Portman’s workout routine brings about the many things she did for her role in Black Swan. Â Losing around 20 pounds on her already slim physique was a large topic.
For that reason we’ll be utilizing some of the things that are discussed, but also putting together other options that can be used to look like her physique of Padme and Jane Foster!

She’s also a fan of yoga and is a regular at the gym (both during and after her pregnancy).
And, I also saw the majority of places that she’s a big fan of running as well. Â So, combining running, yoga, hiking, and her being “a regular at the gym”, leaves us plenty of room to work with. Â It’s probably be much different than that of her fellow Star Wars star Daisy Ridley, but it’ll be awesome nonetheless.
