What’s up SuperHumans…aka Fan-Boys-&-Girls?
Fanboy Friday’s take 2 is in full effect and I’d love to hear from you!
1. What’s new with SHJ this week?
I realize it’ll be easier to put this here instead of at the bottom of the Fanboy Friday posts. Â Not only might you guys look forward to seeing this each week, but it also might lead to the other things I’ll be touching on later in the post.
So, what’s new with SHJ?
1 – We got amazing feedback thus far with the 3 New Paths within the Academy and our new Coach Derek Mellino
(Three New Paths are: Runners Path [Flash / Jesse Quick], Gymnastic Path [Black Widow / Black Panther], Fighters Path [Deadpool / Harley Quinn])
2 – I’ve also introduced two new ways of purchasing within The Academy. Â The FULL Academy is still obviously available, but now you can also purchase it cheaper w/o the Private FB Group and Coach Access, and you also have the option to just get the PDF Workout Routines for each Path.
3- We have two new Celeb/Superhero Workout Routines up:
(Oddly enough, both of these routines ended up being beginner workouts!)
4 – There are 4 new 10 Minute or Less Workouts within the Workout Database to check out as well!
2. What are you guys watching?
Oh my god….TV SHOW OVERLOAD!
Alright, so I’ll quickly state the obvious: Arrow, Flash (although there was none this week???), Supergirl, Magicians (obsessed).
What I didn’t get to YET: Legion Episode 2! Â Don’t spoil it. Â I’ll get to it ASAP, there’s just so many freakin’ shows every week.
Oh, and I’ve also been catching up on my Billions (Showtime series), from episode one, being that Season Two comes out this Sunday!
3. What are you reading?
Finished up my 100 Years of Solitude for class, and did some writing on that. Also finished and thoroughly enjoyed The Alchemist, although I don’t know if either really fall into my nerd style of reading, and are both more-so under that “literature major” category :P.
I’m also still working on, slowly but surely digging and pulling information out of:Â The Case Against Sugar.
But, the biggest news is that I have King’s Cage, and I’m already 1/3 of the way through it!  The tie to X-Men is just too good, and Victoria Aveyard is freakin’ awesome; taking her motivation from people like George RR Martin, George Lucas, and other amazing authors.  This is my top priority at the moment!
4. What are you fanboying over?
I just talked about this one, so I won’t say much, but this is what I’m really fanboying over. Â I’m a really huge Young Adult/Teen Literature lover, along with Sci Fi/Fantasy, so this book really takes that home for me.
Just think of X-Men with a Young Adult Lit twist!
A Bit of a Minimalist Style of Training
This one still stands from last week. Â I’m actually pretty stoked because the Charlie Hunnam routine was requested, and it ended up further supporting this style of training I’ve been utilizing! Â It was pretty awesome, and I swear I didn’t plan anything.
It’s actually even more minimalistic than what I’m currently doing! Â I’m really ex
What else is new?
Not too much else besides that. Â Stoked and patiently waiting for Iron Fist to release next month on Netflix.
And, of course, for Logan to eventually hit theaters as well.
And now it’s your turn!
Use the prompts and tell me what’s going on!  I’m interested!
SUPERHUMAN SECRETS V.2
NOW UPDATED AND EXPANDED WITH A NEW SECTION & SEVEN BONUSES
Just wrapped up Luke Cage! One of the best efforts from Marvel yet. I love how alive the show feels outside of the hero. Bulletproof Love! – Side note ever since your Luke Cage post I thoroughly enjoy calling my recreational days Cagers.
And I just saw the early reviews on Logan… I’ve moved into the super excited category for that movie. To the point where I’ll be dragging the wife to movie.
Haha I love that “Cagers”. I thoroughly enjoyed Luke Cage as well, but still put both seasons of Daredevil ahead of Cage and Jessica Jones. Although, I think Iron Fist might top all of them.
Haha! I cannot freakin’ wait for Logan. Do you keep her up to date on the X-Men or Marvel Universe at all?
Currently busy with catching up on Arrow (can’t believe I’ve slept on this show it’s frkn awesome)!
In addition I’m re-reading the whole HP series again as well as some work related stuff on tax accounting (sounds magical as well doesn’t it haha).
Really hyped up on Iron Fist can’t wait for it to be released even have a countdown calendar in my outlook at work for it. Other thing is the Stormzy concert in Amsterdam in May!
Other new things is that I’m telling my 1 year old about Superheroes (gotta start young) making the misses telling me she’s still too young for it hahaha!
Haha! Never too young for Superheroes…!
What book are you on in the HP series? I re-read it so often it’s becoming a problem 😛
And, are you watching Arrow in unison with Flash/Supergirl/Legends (or any of the 3)?
