It’s freakin’ Harry Potter.
Alright, that’s it I promise…
Daniel Radcliffe probably does get sick of all the fans constantly referring to him as the boy who lived, but guess what? … It ain’t ever going to change!
He’s now been in other films like Victor Frankenstein, Now You See Me 2, Kill Your Darlings, and Horns (to name a few) – but nothing will ever compare.
We’ve already seen Hermione, aka Emma Watson’s workout routine and diet plan on the site – and I truly enjoyed that one tremendously – so I hope this lives up to the Harry Potter hype.
I’m a full-fledge Harry Potter nerd, by the way…even taking up Quidditch at my University (Stony Brook)…and in a constant brainstorm on how to bring Harry Potter into The Academy!
Daniel Radcliffe Stats:
Height: 5’5
Weight: (approximate) 145 lbs.
Age: 28 years old
Radcliffe’s stats make him one of our shortest celebs that we’ve seen at SHJ, roughly around the range of guys like Zac Efron, Kit Harington, and Tom Holland – but still a tad shorter.
But hey, that’s okay, I’m around 5’5-5’6 myself!
The average range we see is more around 5’11-6’2 with guys like Matt Damon, Stephen Amell, and our triple Chris threat of Chris Pratt, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
But even these guys don’t even come in as tall as guys like The Mountain, Batista, Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck and Dwayne Johnson.
Remember, though, this workout will be for everyone and anyone to utilize – so these stats are just for fun.

Daniel Radcliffe Diet and Nutrition
Daniel Radcliffe sports a smaller and leaner physique, actually weighing 120-125 lbs on the sites I found listing his weight prior to putting on some mass for recent roles.
That being said, he has never really grown accustomed to having the cleanest diet.
In an interview with Mens Health he states:
“I’m the worst…I eat better than I used to, though. I don’t eat pizza three times a week like I used to. I eat a lot of protein, that is the basis for most of it. I have a cheat day once a week where I go mental. It’s not a terrible diet, but there’s not a lot of fruit and vegetable in it, either.”
Upping the protein and making his diet cleaner definitely played a part in helping achieve a more muscular physique.
As we know, it’s okay to have that cheat meal, but sustainability and the right tools definitely make a huge difference – and that’s why our Nutritional Classes (Vikings, Spartans, Samurais, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Minimalists) inside The Academy are so versatile.
I suggest getting your protein up, checking out intermittent fasting, and maybe even viewing some of the other pillars within our SHJ Nutritional Guidelines.

Daniel Radcliffe Workout Routine Research
In the same interview with Men’s Health Radcliffe also gives us a ton of information about his workout routine.
Early in the interview, when asked about keeping healthy on top of a busy schedule, he states:
“I became obsessed with running. I try to run six miles a day, as a sort of minimum. I either do a circuit and a four-mile run or just an eight-mile run. I do that six days a week. My time for eight miles is one hour and four minutes. I can do just over eight minute miles. I started off by doing this film about Seb Coe, and I started training for that, but quickly realized ‘I am so shit at this, I have to get better’, so that’s where it came from. I also had one lesson with a proper running coach and that one lesson gave me so much information on what I was doing wrong, I was able to – hopefully – correct some of it.”
He proceeds to tell them how he stays fit with minimal equipment with this statement:
“I’m not somebody who’s looking to get massive, so most of what I do is bodyweight. That’s press-ups, burpees, sit-ups, handstand press-ups, leg-raises, planking and more.”
And, while it might not be the Batman Path, or Saiyan Path within The Academy, it seems like Radcliffe’s training tactics will match up with that of The Flash Path and a mixture of Superman as well.
But, the interview isn’t done with awesome info!
When asked to give his best fitness advice, Radcliffe states:
“Find something to do that you enjoy that also keeps you fit. Like playing football, or rock climbing or whatever it is. Just find that and do it so it doesn’t feel like a chore. Definitely do as much of it as you can.”
Roger that, Harry!
I mean Daniel.
