I was actually feeling pretty inspired after our Sylvester Stallone ab workout and wanted to keep the ab training going.
And I know we don’t do too many mixed martial artist’s routines here at SHJ just for the pure sake of how diverse and ever-changing their programming is on a daily basis (not to mention the fact that it’s much more effective to train with a coach/partner in person), so I figured Conor McGregor’s ab workout is perfect for our next routine.
As I’m sure many of you know: you need a STRONG core in order to be a fighter.
If you’ve ever seen Rocky and other boxing/mixed martial arts shows and movies you’ve probably seen them taking hit to their mid section while doing crunches and/or some form of sit up.
Well, Conor McGregor is one of the best in the business, and he has a strong core to take the punches and kicks as well.
We broke down all the research on Conor McGregor’s workout routine and diet in his full article, but for this one I’ll be sharing three variations of his core training for you to take advantage of.
That means you’ll be able to take this one and utilize it with any of the hundreds of workout routines within our Workout Database, and even have three different variations to work your way through by doing 1-3 a week and plugging them in as you see fit.
