Like Batman, who was our last character we used for jump rope workout inspiration, Black Panther uses a lot of gadgets to upgrade his super-powers (although, of course, Batman doesn’t have actual powers like T’Challa).
For this one we’ll be taking that into account, but we’ll also be looking to replicate the fact that The King of Wakanda also ate The Heart-Shaped Herb and got powers from it.
As you likely know if you’re an SHJ Army Member or even if you’ve just been reading our Jump Rope Workouts from the new database you’ve probably noticed our Workout Database is growing into all different areas, and being that jump ropes are so effective, efficient, and portable, I decided to make them a priority.
We also have our Superhuman System which has been super successful, leading me to also release our Jump Rope and Calisthenics 30 Day Superhuman Booklet for members to take advantage of (after running a 30 Day Jump Rope Challenge inside our Academy) and we’ve been blown away with the results.
Don’t have a jump rope!?
Here’s my list of the Top 5 Jump Ropes and Speed Ropes for Every Fitness Level.
Prior to this we have seen a good handful of Black Panther celebrities, and we’ve also seen a couple Black Panther inspired workouts that I feel are relevant enough to share with you as well.
Here’s a couple workouts you may also want to check out after this one:
But we do still also need to discuss what we’ll be utilizing to build out this routine as well.
As I mentioned earlier: we know Black Panther uses gadgets, but he also has powers and abilities we’ll need to work around as well.
For this one I really want to focus in on:
- Strength
- Speed
- Stamina
The jump rope will help us work on both speed and stamina right off the bat, but we’ll also be looking to build power with some strength building movements using weighted “gadgets” as well.
Tack on the fact that, like Batman again, T’Challa also has incredible gymnastics abilities, and we’ll also be adding in calisthenics to the list of training styles we want to work with here.
Think you can handle it?
The Black Panther Inspired Jump Rope Workout
Training Volume:
One Workout
(To Be Repeated)
Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
Want more like this?
If you want more training similar to this one you can grab our Jump Rope & Calisthenics 30 Day Superhuman Booklet that is built off the aspects we utilize in our Superhuman System and revolves around strictly jump rope and calisthenics to level you up!
