We’ve technically already seen Dakota Johnson’s Workout Routine and Diet Plan here at SHJ, but now in this one we’ll take an extra zoomed in look at that research on her nutrition specifically.

The bulk of what we learned about Johnson’s diet plan for Fifty Shades came from her and Jamie Dornan’s trainer: Romanoa!
Romanoa states:
A: I didn’t have to because they seemed to have a good knowledge of it. I suggested a little more protein for Jamie and ways to get more protein intake. Dakota had a food delivery service that she was comfortable with. They pretty much followed the principles that I speak about in my 3-2-1 nutrition plan. It’s just proportions, when to eat, smaller meals and more meals. If you’re thinking breakfast, complex carbs like oatmeal and a poached egg are great. [I recommend] leaner meat and fish, salads, and definitely eating in a way that the food is grilled, not fried. Every now and then, you have that glass of wine, but you’re not drinking a bottle of wine every night. You have to just moderate yourself.
Now this can obviously be broken down a lot more, but it’s some really great information in there.
The last line speaks to moderation, which is something we continue to see among celebrities, athletes and the world’s top performers.

But I’ll be taking each piece of this and dissecting it below so we have a clear cut diet plan for the entire day for Johnson based on what she was utilizing with Romanoa.
That being said: Johnson, after further research doesn’t stray too far from this approach, but rather just makes the healthier choices with moderation on a regular basis.
