I won’t lie: As as Dragon Ball Z fanboy I wish every time a new season or series comes out that Gohan will unleash his true potential.
I was a bit disappointed, with the thousands and thousands of other fans, when Gohan peaked as a teenager, but I’m still holding on to hope that he’s going to come back and be right there with Goku and Vegeta as the strongest there are.
Hell, there was even some of that flair in the Tournament of Power after he underwent some training for it.
That being said, he’s still one of the most powerful AND popular characters in the entire series (we even ranked them both – which I’ll link to below), so we’re bringing him into our Jump Rope Workouts Database.
Not only was he one of the most requested characters for our Dragon Ball Z Inspired Workouts, but The SHJ Army also loves landing on him as a result within our Dragon Ball Z Workout Placement Quiz as well.
Where do you stand on the Gohan fanboyism?
Don’t have a jump rope!?
Here’s my list of the Top 5 Jump Ropes and Speed Ropes for Every Fitness Level.
But, as I said, this is definitely not the first Dragon Ball Z Inspired Workout we’ve seen.
Here are a couple other Dragon Ball Z Inspired workouts and articles (with routines listed) that we’ve seen here at SHJ:
- Gohan Inspired Workout Routine
- Most Powerful Dragon Ball Z Characters
- Most Popular Dragon Ball Z Characters
As you can tell, we’ve already seen Gohan here at SHJ (if that wasn’t obvious in multiple ways), and in his original article and routine we broke down his power level and even potential.
For that reason we’re going to be skipping all the stats and powers and getting right into the actual circuit workout.
But, I do want you to be aware that we’re training to be a complete and well round super hero.
So be prepared for the intensity that comes with these jump rope workouts mixed with all sorts of training from weights to calisthenics to core and full body!
The Gohan Inspired Jump Rope Workout
Training Volume:
One Workout
(To Be Repeated)
Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System and Core Program training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
