It's about time we add our Kengan Ashura characters to the growing listicles we have breaking down the most powerful and popular characters - and for this one I decided to increase the normal "ten" slot to fifteen just because there are so many powerful Kengan characters!
Plus, we need to go through the top strongest before we break down the favorites!

STRONGEST KENGAN ASHURA CHARACTERS
NUMBER FIFTEEN: SEKIBAYASHI JUN
Coming in at number fifteen and starting off our list of the strongest Kengan Ashura characters is Sekibayashi Jun!
Sekibayashi Jun, also known as Hell's Angel, is an expert at chokes, slams, holds, and is a gigantic professional wrestler.
He also has insane durability, making him a perfect character to start off our list.

NUMBER FOURTEEN: AKOYA SEISHU
Coming in at number fourteen among our strongest Kengan Ashura characters is Akoya Seishu.
Akoya Seishu, also known as The Executioner, is a police inspector and affiliated fighter of Wakasa Life Insurance who uses Taiho-Jutsu, an Art of Arrest, against his opponents.
Multiple lists bring Seishu in the top twenty, and a couple of those even have him closer to the top ten, making his slot at fourteen here seem like a fair spot.

NUMBER THIRTEEN: OKUBA NAOYA
Moving into number thirteen on our list of the strongest Kengan characters we have a fan favorite: Okuba Naoya!
Okuba is known as the King of Combat, and in our anime we even see him give one of our top fighters EVER a run for his money (AKA Fang).
He is a mixed martial artist who specializes in grappling, and he comes in as one of the strongest fighters due to the fact that his mixed martial arts allows him to switch up his style based on his opponent.

NUMBER TWELVE: SAW PAING
Getting close to our top ten we move to number twelve for our strongest Kengan characters with Saw Paing!
Saw Paing is also known as The Howling Fighting Spirit and he is easily one of our characters with one of the strongest durability and defence.
With Saw Paing's insane training he was able to make his bones become so dense that no opponent's strikes can cause any kind of damage, makes him indestructible.

NUMBER ELEVEN: IMAI COSMO
Coming in at number eleven among our strongest Kengan Ashura characters is a character I REALLY wanted to push to top ten: Imai Cosmo.
Cosmo, also known as The King of Strangles, is one of my personal favorite characters.
He is only 19 and can choke any of the other fighters to death with ease. He also developed an ability called foresight, which makes his spot among our characters even closer to number ten.

NUMBER TEN: KIRYU SETSUNA
Starting off our top ten list of the strongest Kengan Ashura characters is Kiryu Setsuna.
Setsuna is also known as The Beautiful Beast, and he has knowledge and strengths in both Koei Style and the Niko Style!

NUMBER NINE: MIKAZUCHI REI
Coming in at number nine is another one of my personal favorites within our list of the strongest Kengan characters: Mikazuchi Rei.
Rei is also known as The Lightning God due to his incredible speed as the fastest fighter with both his striking ability and overall movement speed.
Rei has also set the record for the fastest finish in a Kengan match.

STRONGEST KENGAN ASHURA CHARACTERS
NUMBER EIGHT: HATSUMI SEN
At number eight on our list we have a fun character: Hatsumi Sen.
Sen, also known as The Floating Cloud, is so strong he was even offered the place of The Fifth Fang!
Called The Floating Cloud due to his "soft movements" his biggest strengths come from his unpredictability.

NUMBER SEVEN: GAOLONG WONGSAWAT
Next up, missing our top five by just a few, is Gaolong Wongsawat.
Wongsawat, known as The Thai God of War, is also a fan favorite among The SHJ Army - and you guys made it crystal clear you wanted his routine prioritized within our Kengan Ashura Inspired Workouts.
Kanoh Agito even stated that Wongsawat could beat him if all they did was striking with blows - as Wongsawat is our most powerful heavyweight boxer.

NUMBER SIX: RAIAN KURE
Just missing the top five by a sliver among our Kengan Ashura fighters is Raian Kure.
Kure, also known as The Devil, is a fun character, but not one of my personal favorites.
He's a member of the Kure clan, and also an assassin, and one list shares: "He is the only person in history who has achieved the Secret Technique, i.e., Removal at 100 percent in which he can remove the limiter of his brain, gaining greater strength, durability, speed, and reflexes."

NUMBER FIVE: JULIUS REINHOLD
Starting off our list of the top five strongest Kengan Ashura characters is a behemoth: Julius Reinhold.
Reinhold, also known as The Monster, trained so hard that no one can overpower him in strength again after the defeat to the next character on our list, Wakatsuki Takeshi.

NUMBER FOUR: WAKATSUKI TAKESHI
At number four we have Wakatsuki Takeshi.
Takeshi is also known as Wild Tiger, has only ever lost to three fighter.
He has an abnormality in his muscle density that makes his muscles 52 times much denser than an average human, allowing him to transform his muscle energy into mighty blows.
And now you know why he was somehow able to overpower The Monster, Julius Reinhold!

STRONGEST KENGAN ASHURA CHARACTERS
NUMBER THREE: TOKITA OHMA
Coming in within the top three strongest characters in all of Kengan Ashura is Tokita Ohma!
Ohma is also referred to as The Ashura, and he is a master of The Niko Style (which we referred to earlier with Kiryu)!
He was the finalist of the Kengan Association Tournament but got defeated by Kuroki Gensai (who is actually number one on this list...)

NUMBER TWO: KANOH AGITO
Coming in as our second strongest fighter among Kengan Ashura characters is Kanoh Agito!
Agito, also known as The Fang of Metsudo, is a fighter that is good at all different styles, and takes pride in being able to defeat other fighters in different ways.
His base combat technique is the Formless Style which he used as his last option. Except for Kuroki Gensai, no one ever manage to defeat Kanoh in the entire series; that’s why he is placed on the 2nd position in the list.

NUMBER ONE: KUROKI GENSAI
The strongest character in all of Kengan Ashura is Kuroki Gensai.
He is also the only character to ever beat our second strongest character, as I just mentioned above, which is Kanoh Agito!
Gensai, also known as The Devil Lance, is definitely my favorite character in the series.
He is the master of Kaiwan Style and has reached the apex of the Martial Arts with his calm mind and insane practice.
