We have two sword fighting kick-ass characters this week, starting with Kirigaya Kazuto from Sword Art Online!
We’ve technically already seen Kirigaya here at SHJ, but we had his original article under our Kirito Inspired Workout.
Now we’ve had so much success with our Jump Rope Workouts Database that we’re even having Brandon host some of the workouts on the YouTube Channel!
We’ve already seen circuits inspired by Satoru Gojo, Goku, and Vegeta there – and there will be a lot more to come if you guys continuing wanting more.
We even went ahead and updated some of our scaling advice and guidelines right on our Jump Rope Workouts Database main page that I linked to above.
Don’t have a jump rope!?
Here’s my list of the Top 5 Jump Ropes and Speed Ropes for Every Fitness Level.
But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, I do want to drop just a couple more links from SOA.
Here are both of our Sword Art Online Inspired Workouts thus far:
- Kirito Inspired Workout Routine
- Asuna Inspired Workout Routine
And if you want to find more anime inspired workouts you can even check out the full Anime Workouts Database!
Sword Art Online hasn’t been one of the top requested anime on the site, but Kirito and Asuna have been quite popular.
Our most popular shows end up getting their own mini-databases and even Workout Placement Quizzes to help you choose the best workout – but for now we’ll be focusing on this one-shot circuit for you to fit into your routine and test your fitness level!
Get ready for some intensity!
Kirigaya Kazuto Inspired Jump Rope Workout
Training Volume:
One Workout
(To Be Repeated)
Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System and Core Program training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
