How can we not have Lara Croft’s character version?
The answer is: we have to have it!
We’ve already seen her portrayed on the site by both Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, and now it’s time to take a look at how the character herself would train.
We also have the Kratos “God of War” workout live this week as well, so it’s a perfect video game type of week for us to mold these two character routines into SHJ.
Tomb Raider Stats:
Height:Â 5’9 / 5’6
Weight: NA
Real Name: Lara Croft
Powers: No
Lara Croft has been portrayed as both 5’9 and 5’6.
That being said, she comes in at average female height for celeb women we’ve seen at SHJ, and well above average at her 5’9.
Supergirl was our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4, and we had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, and Mystique at 5’10, and Storm 5’11; but the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Harley Quinn.
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero!

Tomb Raider Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like The Hulk may get something specifically different**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Hugh Jackman and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting daily, and I also use it myself in conjunction with cyclical ketosis.
That being said, I also recommend tracking and paying attention to protein intake.
BUT, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, Superhumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Oh, and if you’re down with calorie counting instead, that’s always an option as well. It’s just important to be aware of specific rules and precision while counting.

Tomb Raider Workout Routine Research
So what do we know about Lara Croft?
I ask, because this is the part of the article that I like to call “the fun part”.Â
AKA: the part where I get to do the research that breaks down the “how” and “why” of the workout we’re going to build.
Here’s what WikiRaider gives us to start us off:
Lara Croft is a British archaeologist and treasure hunter, most commonly known for her discovery of several noted artifacts, including Excalibur, the fabled sword of King Arthur.
And another thing we can get from WikiRaider is Lara Croft’s favorite sports, which will be useful for the activities we mention throughout the workout:
Freeclimbing, Shooting, Riding, Canoeing
And we’re also going to talk about Lara Croft’s skill sets.
For that, we’re going to get into some video game lingo.
Ready?
Here’s some breakdown of some skills (not all) from Tomb Raider Wiki:
Skill points are earned by earning experience points (XP), which can be earned through combat (With bonus XP awarded for headshots, stealth kills and executions), hunting, Exploration, raiding tombs, collecting artifacts (with bonus XP awarded for examining them closer) and story progression.
Lara Croft is a badass. Â
That part was pretty clear from what we’ve talked about thus far, right?
So now it’s time to make us train like one as well.
