Have you seen Birds of Prey yet?
Well, full disclosure: It was amazing.
We’ve been seeing more and more listicles pop up at SHJ, which make it easier for you guys to find workouts that may be hidden from the past, in different, awesome categories.
Plus, it’s also fun to have some listicles devoted to fitness gear as well.
We have well over five hundred workout routines on the site now compiling what is the most comprehensive Workout Database on the internet, and more requests coming in every single day, but here are a handful of our Birds of Prey themed workout routines that have hit the site.
This should get you either hyped up for the movie, or prepared to kick some ass after seeing it.
I’m going to have some bonuses (which I tend to like to do with these listicles), but the initial Top 5 will be in order of my favorites, and what I believe are the most effective.
Some of the other criteria will be based around other things that I specifically mention while naming each of the top routines.
There are a couple that are great for very specific reasons, so just keep track of that fact while you’re making your way through.
Let’s start with number one….
Number One: Harley Quinn Character Workout(s)
First on the list is Harley Quinn.Â
Quinn is not only coming in first because she’s the Bird of Prey lead for our new movie, but also because she is an SHJ Army favorite and has TWO different workout routines for you to choose from.
She was one of our first ever character inspired workouts with our original Harley Quinn Workout Routine, which is super intense, and we’ve also revisited her character with a more beginner-friendly Harley Quinn Cosplay Workout & Guide!
Let’s break it down again (for those who don’t like to read):
Harley Quinn Workout: High Intensity, High Volume, Not Suitable for Beginners
Harley Quinn Cosplay Workout & Guide: Great Workout, Made To Get You Looking Like Harley, Suitable for Beginner-Intermediate Levels
Which means you have some options, and is the reason for Quinn coming in as our Top Birds of Prey Workout Routine!
But, moving on into further routines we’ll see other in our Top Five being listed for very specific reasons.

Number Two: Jurnee Smollett-Bell Workout
Second on the list is Jurnee Smollett-Bell.
If you’ve seen Birds of Prey, or even just the trailer or pictures, you’ll know that Jurnee Smollett-Bell rocked one of the best female physiques, even after giving birth to her super-cute baby Hunter a few years ago and having filmed Underground while seven months pregnant!
She came back from her pregnancy with rockin’ six pack abs for this, and I was blow away!
The other reasons why Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s workout come in at number two:
– Smollett-Bell prioritizes self-care with journaling, meditation, and more.
– Smollett-Bell’s workout is extremely diverse and a ton of fun.
– Smollett-Bell’s workout is great for both beginners, or women looking to include relaxation and self-care in their regime.
Are you sold yet?

Number Three: The Black Canary Workout
Third on the list is our Black Canary inspired workout routine.
Black Canary has been on screen eight different times now, and they’ve always been badass, inspiring women, like Jurnee Smollett-Bell.
For that reason, the Black Canary character inspired workout is built around that same badassery.
The Black Canary workout is not only built around calisthenics and parkour, but also comes in with gymnastic styled workouts that are built around female gymnasts like Shawn Johnson and Alicia Sacramone’s specifically advised movements!
So if you’re looking for a gymnastic/calisthenic routine to get you into tip-top shape, that also focuses on core (remember those six pack abs I mentioned Jurnee-Smollett-Bell rocked?), this is the workout for you.
With scaling (up or down), it is great for both Beginners and Advanced members of The SHJ Army.
No Canary Cry benefits available :P.

Number Four: Ewan McGregor Workout
Fourth on the list is our Ewan McGregor workout routine.
McGregor is not only our Obi-Wan Kenobi (which I understand doesn’t bring much weight to this listicle), but he’s also our Black Mask.
He does a fabulous job portraying crazy, if I do say so myself, but more importantly: his workout fits a specific criteria that may interest many members of The SHJ Army.
For that reason, it deserves to come in at the Number Four slot.
And, for those of you wondering what specific criteria that is: I’m talking about running.
McGregor hates the gym, free weights, and even cardio machines, but he does love running outside. A five mile run, which sometimes go up to eight miles, is just an ordinary step outside for McGregor.
His workout routine we built for him will take you from the couch, all the way to a 10K run.

Number Five: The Huntress Workout
Fifth on the list is our Huntress inspired workout routine.
This one is similar to Black Canary’s in the sense that we are utilizing a lot of calisthenics and parkour, but with this one we’re adding in two new layers.
Those layers are circuit training (with the addition of weights and high intensity), and also mixed martial arts resources.
The Huntress workout is a bit of a mix when it comes to user-friendliness, though. While the calisthenics are beginner friendly and absolutely scale-able, the circuit training is inherently high intensity and will need a deal of scaling in order to be used by beginners.
That being said, this workout IS Beginner Friendly, but I’d recommend it for Intermediate-Advanced if you’re not planning on scaling down the circuits.

BONUS: Margot Robbie Workout
Sixth on the list, which is a bonus for us, is our Margot Robbie workout routine.
We couldn’t have a Top Birds of Prey Workout list without The Cupid of Crime, The Maid of Mischief…our Harley Quinn herself.
While Margot Robbie’s workout really isn’t that intense or we did build it with plenty of circuits making it a perfect routine if you’re looking to step it up a notch while still only training 3 or so days a week at a much lower volume.
We still built it to adhere to 3 days of weight training, which are pretty awesome training days (if I might add), so even if you’re looking to just hit a nice Push/Pull/Legs Split with some added emphasis on fat loss and glute work…this is the one for you.
This routine is Beginner Friendly with scaling due to the lower volume that you’re able to utilize while still getting full use of the workout.
Think you have what it takes?

That’s all she wrote.
It’s a wrap on our Birds of Prey workout routines, and I think we did damn good.
I would have loved to have some extra bonuses, but I didn’t have any enough to warrant a full addition to the list.
That being said, we do have some Joker workouts that I can add for the men:
- The Joker Workout Routine
- The Joker Cosplay Workout & Guide
- The Jared Leto Workout Routine and Diet Plan
So while I gave some names for Harley, it’s only fair I give some more for The Joker…
Or, should I say: Clown Prince of Crime, the Harlequin of Hate, the Ace of Knaves, and the Jester of Genocide!
But don’t get me wrong: this grouping of workouts are both male and female friendly.
I even included weights for both men and women within The Huntress Workout Circuits! 🙂
Expect to see a lot more listicles from this point on.
I’m thinking we see some for our CW Stars, Young Justice Characters, and more!
What others do you think we should see?

Until next time,
