As I mentioned within our new Gon Freecss Inspired Jump Rope Workout: we’ve been on a bit of a tear with Hunter x Hunter Inspired Workouts and we’re keeping it going with some fan favorites.
And by that, as you obviously know by now, I mean Killua and Gon!
They are perfect for our Jump Rope Workouts Database because they are some of the most popular Hunter x Hunter characters – but they also carry around their two tools for defense that fit perfectly into our ropes as well.
Killua has his yo-yo and Gon has his fishing pole!
So we’ll be swapping out those rope-style tools for our own jump rope – but we’ll be keeping their specific styles in mind while we do it.
If you want to check out some more Anime Inspired Workout Routines you can also visit our database there and continue the Hunter x Hunter fun going through some more of the most popular anime as well.
Don’t have a jump rope!?
Here’s my list of the Top 5 Jump Ropes and Speed Ropes for Every Fitness Level.
Speaking of taking it further, though – we’ve also seen more Hunter x Hunter characters, including our original Killua and Gon inspired workouts!
Here are a few other Hunter x Hunter Inspired Workouts we’ve seen here at SHJ:
- The Killua Inspired Workout Routine
- The Gon Inspired Workout Routine
- The Kurapika Inspired Workout Routine
- The Leorio Inspired Workout Routine
What is also pretty exciting about us revisiting these two characters is that we’re also getting some new listicles featuring The Most Popular Hunter x Hunter Characters this week AND moving into a Hunter x Hunter dedicated mini-workout-database within our larger Workout Database.
So it’s a big week for Hunter x Hunter here at SHJ.
Just to reiterate though: we will be building this workout based on Killua’s overall character, while also keeping his yo-yo in mind and having some fun with the way we skip.
We discussed his overall powers and abilities in his original article, which is why we’re not going over it all again – but we will also be keeping that in mind and building the routine around that as well.
I mentioned that Gon would probably never give up – and we know how competitive Gon and Killua are – so you’re probably going to want to get this one through to the last rep!
The Killua Inspired Jump Rope Workout
Training Volume:
One Workout
(To Be Repeated)
Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System and Core Program training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
