With the release of Baki Hanma on Netflix it’s time to keep the ball rolling with our awesome Baki Inspired Workouts.
And we’re even switching things up a bit this week.
While we normally get new jump rope workouts from characters we’ve already seen inside our Anime Workouts Database, this week we’re bringing in a couple new characters.
You guys are loving the new Baki characters so much that I want to make sure we don’t slow down and bring in some of the names that may otherwise not be able to hit the site as soon as we’d like them to.
First up is Mohammad Alai Jr., who we know from our Baki series on Netflix.
While Alai Jr. didn’t make it onto our list of The Strongest Baki Characters of All Time, or onto our Baki Workout Placement Quiz, he DID make it into our new Unofficial Baki Workout Booklet.

But, like I said, this definitely isn’t the first time we’re seeing a Baki Inspired Workout here at SHJ.

For this one we’re going to be obviously working around boxing style, so while you’ll see boxer skips, you’ll also be utilizing calisthenics training and other shadow-boxing and jab techniques in there with some exercises that will work on your explosiveness.
This one brings the intensity while also really working on keeping it simple at the same time.

Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System and Core Program training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
