That picture shows off a sexy physique, but Katheryn Winnick knows how to portray a badass!
No but really, she would Shieldmaden kick my ass…
We just saw her son’s workout (well, son in Vikings), aka Bjorn Ironside, aka Alexander Ludwig – and I’m pretty sure this one is going to be just as freakin’ awesome.
These workouts seemed fitting as Vikings is not only coming around soon, but also because we discussed the Nordic Diet last week as well.
Yes, Nordic as in Vikings…
We even have a Viking Nutritional Class in The Superhero Academy!
Katheryn Winnick Stats:
Height: 5’6
Weight: (approximate) 124 lbs.
Age: 39 years old
So she’s right around that same height as the average woman we see at SHJ.
That of Katie Cassidy, Caity Lotz, Olivia Munn, Zoe Saldana, Daisy Ridley and Margot Robbie.
Taller than gals like Scarlett Johansson, Emilia Clarke and Natalie Portman…and, shorter than Melissa Benoit, Jennifer Lawrence, and Gal Gadot.
And, before we move on to her diet and nutrition, can I just point out some more badassery?
In an interview with Vogue Winnick stated:
Vogue: If you weren’t an actress, what profession would you like to try?
Winnick: “At the age of 16, I started my first business running a martial arts school called WinKai Martial Arts. I had three schools in Toronto by the time I was 21. I fell in love with teaching self-defense to families and young women. Since I love business, if I weren’t an actor, I’d get more involved with being an entrepreneur and building things in a positive way.”
I mean, c’mon…

Katheryn Winnick Diet and Nutrition
Another quote from her interview with Vogue gives us this:
Vogue: What wellbeing and diet philosophies do you subscribe to?
Winnick: “I believe in drinking hot water and lemon every day, as well as mint tea. I eat a strictly gluten free diet. I believe it’s helped me increase my energy, as well as keeping me fit. I try and stick to a base of vegetables and proteins while also trying to eat more often, about five small meals a day. It is important to sustain energy throughout the day. I also love juicing.”
Okay, so I’m going to go out on a limb and tell you guys that Winnick does not utilize intermittent fasting or the Nordic Diet…
Well, that would have made things too easy, right?
But, I can still point you guys in the direction of the Nutrition Pillars, and even tell you if you REALLY wanted to be just like Winnick, we also have an article on calorie counting you could utilize.

Katheryn Winnick Workout Routine Research
Vogue really had the best information for us, so we’re going to just stick to it. I found a little bit more about her training in some random places (which I’ll use), but here’s what Vogue tells us:
Vogue: What is your exercise regimen?
Winnick: “A combination of weight training, fighting, boxing, and enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, horseback riding and kayaking. I feel exercise is incredibly important for both the mind and body. It is important for me to stay consistent with my exercise, especially with such long hours and multiple locations.”
Like many of the women we see in the Workout Database, Winnick stays active.
As we see in the pictures I’ve added sporadically in the article, she also adds in other formats of training.
That being said, her routine will be based around being active, while I also program another number of days for you guys.
Chef Dave likes to call these activity days “Cagers”, so don’t be frightened when I use that.

SUPERHUMAN SECRETS V.2
NOW UPDATED AND EXPANDED WITH A NEW SECTION & SEVEN BONUSES
I don’t believe that she weights 114lbs with this height as she would be supermodel skinny whereas she has curves and nice strong muscles. She must be at least 124lbs probably closer to 135lbs given her defined muscles. Which makes her look great.
Stop spreading unrealistic information regarding the celebrity weight and make women doubt themselves and think they’re too heavy when they’re not!
