You may view her as our Catwoman from the 2004 movies, but she’ll always be my Storm.
No offence DC…
Halle Berry has been a woman that have all the ladies turning heads and wondering what her secret is.
Recently as well, Halle Berry is back in the picture (directly in front…as if she never left!) because she’s been out showing off her rockin’ physique again.
The actress is now 50 years old, and still showing everyone that she can keep kicking ass!
And, I’m pretty sure that makes her the oldest woman to be featured in our Workout Database!
Halle Berry Stats:
Height: 5’5
Weight: (approximate) 121 lbs
Age: 50 years old
Berry struts a physique right around the average height, right around the range of Emily Bett Rickards, Olivia Munn, Katie Cassidy and Caity Lotz. Â She’s below Gal Gadot, Sophie Turner, and Jennifer Lawrence, but still standing above Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke and Scarlett Johansson.
And, keep in mind she’s rockin’ this physique as the oldest in the workout database, and although these height comparisons don’t matter, it’s still fun to let these SuperHuman ladies stack up together.

Halle Berry Diet and Nutrition
One thing that Halle Berry admits to is having to be more conscious about what she eats. Â In an interview with LA Times she gives us a lot of insight to her diet and even her workout routines.
Here’s what she states when asked what she does to stay in shape:
LAT: What do you do to stay in shape?
HB: It’s a lot harder than it used to be [she laughs]. As I get older, I am more conscious of what I eat. I have never worked out with a lot of weights unless I had to for a film role. Left to my own devices, I just do cardio. I do exercises that involve my own body weight, because I never want to get too muscly. I am diabetic, so exercising has always been a part of managing my disease and keeping my sugars under control.
Yes, Berry is a diabetic.
She continues the interview telling us more about that here:
LAT: How old were you when you were diagnosed with diabetes?
HB: I was 19. I became much healthier as I learned how to manage it. It took a couple of years, and some scary situations, to accept that it was a lifestyle change and not a diet I could stop in six months. It meant learning to eat healthy and understanding that carbs break down to sugar quickly. I cut [most] processed sugar from my diet. … That’s not to say I won’t have a glass of red wine occasionally — it’s my guilty pleasure. [If I do], I make sure the rest of my meals that day are clean and healthy: lots of vegetables; no breads … and lots of water.
Lots of vegetables!
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to HAVE the strict guidelines.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting(something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.

Halle Berry Workout Routine Research
The article with LA Times was pretttttttyyyy good!
She already told us a lot about her training, but she was also asked about her training with a personal trainer as well.
Here’s what she had to say:
LAT: Do you ever work out with a trainer?
HB: When my work schedule permits, sometimes I work out with a female trainer. No matter what, every day I exercise for at least 30 minutes.
So she did tell us that the only time she would use weights is when she’s prepping for a role. Â That being said, we can incorporate them within the routine, but only ever-so-slightly.
For the most part it seems that Berry sticks to cardio type routines, even sticking to just getting in that 30 minutes everyday.
Simplicity is key, and so is sustainability.
It’s what we preach in The Academy, and we see it so often with so many of the celebs we research on the site.
