Busta Rhymes lost 100 pounds and got jacked.
We’re talking muscular six pack abs jacked. That kind of jacked…
We’ve recently started adding a handful of celebrities to our Workout Database that include athletes, rappers, singers, and celebs that are outside the regular scope of acting and/or starring as a superhero.
We’ve seen celebs like Machine Gun Kelly, SAINt JHN’s ab workout, Action Bronson and his weight loss, and even singers like Kesha and Lana Del Rey; just to name a handful.
But Busta Rhymes brought himself to a whole new level – and seems to be really into his health and fitness.
Busta takes us through a full video of his workout routine with a nice voiceover of each movement he does, and the set and rep scheme of each, for a Men’s Health video in February.
In the video he does ten different exercises and generally 3-4 sets each, and 10-15 reps with a traditional pyramid training style.
He also makes mention to the fact that one of his favorite exercises is tricep cable pushdowns.
He says:
Exercise number nine. One of my favorites again right here! Tricep rope extensions. We usually go hard with 4 sets, 15 reps each.
Although he does also say hammer curls and some other movements are also some of his favorites, he even mentions the fact that he sometimes throws in a fifth set of tricep pushdowns if he’s really feeling it.
You’re going to be hitting a full body workout for this one, including abs – but you’ll want to have a lower body day in there with your weekly regime as well.
