We’re on a Riverdale spree now. We started only having KJ Apa, more than likely because he was shirtless all throughout season one, but now we just saw Medelaine Petsch last week and we have to keep it going!

I’d also like to add that I love the fact that all the women characters from Archie Comics have become absolute badasses in the Riverdale series.
Which is why you shouldn’t be surprised when we end up with a lot more female Riverdale stars featured on SHJ!

Camila Mendes is among the shortest women we’ve seen at SHJ.
She’s below average height we’ve seen among the other women celebs, but she’s not alone.
The average height we see is actually 5’4-5’6 with women like Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Rosario Dawson, Katie Cassidy, Katheryn Winnick, Alicia Vikander, and a ton of others – even including he co-star Madelaine Petsch.

Camila Mendes Diet and Nutrition
Camila Mendes is way against “dieting”.
Instead she opts for a regular sustainable and healthy way of eating.
And hell, we’re all about sustainability at SHJ.
You guys know that already.
To give you more insight into why Mendes feels this way, I want to utilize an interview with Teen Vogue she did.
They tell us:
Camila revealed that after paying a visit to a naturopath she realized that an “obsession with being thin” had taken over her thinking and life. She said that she had been feeling continuing anxiety over making food choices and dieting.
They get this information straight from her Instagram, actually, where Mendes shares tons of her feelings with her fans.
Teen Vogue continues sharing from Mendes’ post with:
“Somehow I had stripped myself of all the pastimes that brought me joy, and all that was left of me was my anxiety around food,” she wrote on Instagram. “My passion for education, cinema, music, etc. — all the interests that used to occupy my mind — had been eaten away by my desire to be thin, and it made me miserable.” The star further explained that the naturopath helped her decide to no longer pursue dieting. She wrote: “I’m done believing in the idea that there’s a thinner, happier version of me on the other side of all the tireless effort.”
Mendes continues with a lot more about how she feels and hashtags #DoneWithDieting on the post.
In an interview with People Mag Mendes continues to talk about this topic by sharing:
“fear of losing control when it comes to eating disorders,” but she’s learned to “let loose” with what she eats. “It’s fine to eat dessert when I want to eat dessert, because that will give me the peace of mind I need. I’ll know that if I ate chocolate cake, maybe I won’t the next day. I’ve learned to trust myself that I’m going to make healthy choices because I care about my health.”

There’s a ton of more information out there on Camila Mendes standpoint on dieting than there is on her workout.
I will make that blatantly clear right off the bat.
That being said, I won’t leave you hanging.
We saw Madelaine Petsch’s workout routine, and we also know Camila Mendes has an awesome physique.
Those are two things we can work with!
I’ll be creating you a Camila Mendes routine based on what we know of her physique, and also what we know of other celebs routines that compare and have a similar physique to hers.
That makes sense, right?
One more thing I want to say before I would onto the creation of this workout routine for you guys is that Camila Mendes is huge into body acceptance (if that wasn’t already clear).
An article by Shape.com shares some information about her at their 2018 “Body Shop” event that Mendes attended.
And I’d like to share the final paragraph of that article before we move on:
While the two women’s stories are similar—they share a common theme of self-doubt and shame, but also acceptance and body-love), they’re also different, which highlights that disordered eating and/or body insecurities don’t always manifest the same way. “People think people with disorders look sick, you know, that they’re always boney and really thin, but that’s not true,” said Mendes. “Most of the time, people with eating disorders don’t ‘look’ like they have eating disorders.”
So if there’s one thing I’d like you to take away from this article it’s that this should be done as a way to feel better and be healthier. Do it because you want to do it. Don’t do it because you think you have to.
