Alexandra Daddario is pretty freakin’ awesome.
And, happens to be a babe too.
Daddario starred in the Percy Jackson films as Annabeth, a complete bad-ass, and then proceeded to star in a number of other films and TV shows leading her to her larger roles in both San Andreas and more recently Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
And she also stars with The Rock in San Andreas, and soon to be San Andreas 2!
Alexandra Daddario Stats:
Height: 5’8
Weight: 125 lbs
Age: 31 years old
Daddario stands in as one of the tallest women we’ve seen at SHJ, right there with ladies like Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Sophie Turner, Daisy Ridley, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rihanna.
Standing at the average height, which is in that 5’5-5’6 range, are ladies like Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Katie Cassidy, Katheryn Winnick, Olivia Munn, Caity Lotz, and a good handful of others.
The shortest we’ve seen are ladies like Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke, and Demi Lovato – to name a few.
But, don’t worry if you’re not in Daddario’s range.

Alexandra Daddario Diet and Nutrition
Daddario doesn’t have any specific dietary restrictions, but she does try to keep it clean.
Here’s a quote from Daddario from an interview with People Magazine:
“I eat when I’m hungry,” the 5’8″ Baywatch star, 31, tells PEOPLE. “I try to stay away from anything unnatural, but if you are trying to stay healthy and you get too hungry, it will only be more difficult to stay away from things like too much sugar if you don’t give yourself what you want sometimes. I’m focused on being healthy and not stressing or obsessing over food.”
Sounds pretty simple to me, huh?
I mean, it’s really right on point with The Academy methods, focusing in on sustainability within all of our Nutrition Classes (Vikings, Minimalists, Spartans, SuperHumans, Monks, Samurais, Hunter Gatherers).
Oh, and it gets better too.
Here’s something else she had to say:
“I eat what I like, even if I know it’s not ideal sometimes,” says Daddario. “You have to allow yourself to cheat. I know if I have some ice cream at night it’s not going to affect me negatively. Enjoy your life!”
Preach it!
That’s precisely why we utilize intermittent fasting in conjunction with cyclical ketosis in order to be able to get benefits from our cheat meals.
Yeah, I know, it’s pretty cool…
To wrap it up, I’ll leave you with one last quote from Daddario:
“As I’ve gotten older, something that made a huge difference for me was being healthy,” she says. “It’s not about how much you eat…it’s eating healthy food and eating when you’re hungry, and not thinking about it so much.”
Sounds a lot like the awareness we always talk about having.

Alexandra Daddario Workout Routine Research
Alexandra Daddario is a big yoga fan, but actually took to weight training for Baywatch in order to gain some weight and help round out her physique.
Here’s what she had to say about that:
“My normal workout routine, pre-Baywatch, was a lot of hot yoga,” she told the mag. “I feel like it helps with anxiety, it helps with sleep, it was sort of more of a mental thing. For Baywatch, I started doing weight training, which I had never done before, and I saw a huge difference. It was kind of amazing, the transformation I went through.”
She’s also been quotes saying:
“Regular exercise and yoga has made a huge difference in how I approach my diet because it makes feel better about myself,” she says.
So, don’t be surprised if you find yoga to be a part of this routine as well.
I was also lucky enough to find a full circuit from Women’s Health that Daddario was said to utilize in her training.
I’ll be adding this entire circuit as one of the pillars in the days that we revolve the routine around.
Here’s a quote from the trainer Patrick Murphy who worked with both Zac Efron and Daddario to get into Baywatch shape:
I take every rep very seriously. I watch how someone performs, and give them cues: where to position their head; how to engage their shoulders; keep their wrists straight; tighten their abs; activate their glutes. With Zac, I helped him create positive adaptations for perfect posture and alignment, all the while going through a very high-intensity program. I also plan ahead. I consider what type of supersets I’m slating for every workout.
Like Luke Evans, who we saw this week as well, we will also be utilizing some high intensity training (in the form of circuits, like I said), and supersets.
Let’s get to it.

Alexandra Daddario Workout Routine

When training for Baywatch the volume was extremely high. The actors were also on limited time. Prior, Daddario utilized yoga, and added in workout routines to tack on some shapely weight. Utilize 3-5 days depending on the additions and how much you can do each week.
**For supersets: complete each movement back to back and then rest before moving onto the next set.**
