Did I mention it’s a Viking kind of week?
And, no, I don’t mean JUST the show called VIKINGS.
Although we just saw Clive Standen this week as well, and have already seen Katheryn Winnick and Alexander Ludwig, we’re also hitting Dreymon from The Last Kingdom to get a little extra Viking love.
Dreymon has also been in a few other shows, but for this one we’ll be focusing on the physique he portrays as Uhtred in The Last Kingdom.
Alexander Dreymon Stats:
Height: 5’10
Weight: (approximate) 188 lbs.
Age: 35 years old
Alexander Dreymon definitely isn’t one of the taller celebs we’ve seen on the site.
He stands in around the same height as guys like Josh Brolin, Matt Damon, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
The average height is anywhere from 6’1-6’3 with celebs like Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman, Chris Evans, Adam Driver, Stephen Amell, and so many more.
And, even taller than them are guys like The Mountain, Dwayne Johnson, Joe Manganiello, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, and a few others.
Don’t forget about the short range though. We also have Zac Efron, KJ Apa, Mark Wahlberg, Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Holland and more falling there.
But, don’t worry either way.
I write these routines to be utilized by any shape and size.

Alexander Dreymon Diet and Nutrition
Similar to how I started with Clive Standen, I will be doing the same for Alexander Dreymon.
And by that, I mean I’ll start by giving you the Nordic Diet that we’ve seen on the site. It’s one of big pillars we have in our Nutrition Pillars on the site for our SHJ Army to choose from, and something that fits the bill here.
And, all of our pillars are based around sustainability, so that’s always a good place to start.
Not to mention the fact that we literally have a Viking Nutrition Class in our Academy to go along with the other half a dozen classes (Samurai, Monk, Hunter Gatherer, Spartan, SuperHuman, Minimalist).
As far as a diet for Alexander Dreymon, it’s sustainability and healthy dieting is definitely right on the money.
You don’t get that kind of ripped physique without being in control of your diet.
I would not only suggest checking out the Nutrition Pillars, and what I’ve already mentioned, but I will also suggest some of the other dietary pillars we’ve seen used by many celebs on the site.
The pillars like intermittent fasting we’ve seen used by Hugh Jackman, Terry Crews and other; or calorie counting, cyclical ketosis, and protein counting as well.
These are all things to be aware of, and to test out to see if they’re sustainable FOR YOU!

Alexander Dreymon Workout Routine Research
There’s not a ton of information out there about Alexander Dreymon’s workout routine, I’ll say that right off the bat.
But, what I’m going to do is give you what I can find, and also build the routine around the actors physique, and base it off of what we’ve seen from other celebs that sport a similar build.
One thing that I found interesting was what we’re told in an interview with BBC America about his training for the stunts on the show:
How much training went into making the battle scenes as realistic as possible?
Dreymon: We worked with a brilliant stunt team lead by Levente Leszák, who practices natural horsemanship and so is very close to his animals. I think he applies the same patience he has with his horses to the actors that he works with. He is a very good teacher and I’m very fortunate to have had one to one horse-riding lessons with him. Having said that, I think most of the stunts you see in the battles were kind of learnt on the job as we went along. The battle scenes were so much fun to film. They required quite a lot of waiting around, but it was worth it.
We’ve seen actors put in a lot of work training for specific pieces of their roles.
Daisy Ridley, just to name one off the top of my head, put in intensive work with a trainer to get better at using a sword for her role as Rey in Star Wars.
She actually used the same trainer as many of the characters from Game of Thrones that we’ve seen!
So, this we’ll immediately chalk up as an activity day, because on set and off set for this type of training he’s going to have this added to his daily activity.
Calorie burning, people!
But, we also know he’s pretty shredded, so I’m going to be also building you a routine that will help you look like him, of course.
Let’s do this.
