Video Game Inspired Character Workouts aren’t as popular as our Superhero Workouts or Anime Workouts, BUT they still are a favorite amongst many members of The SHJ Army.
Especially the five [or more] I’ll name below.
There are a handful of video game characters that thousands of members around the SHJ Army love to train like, and I also get handfuls of requests for more video game characters on a weekly basis.
That’s why we even just rolled out our Video Game Inspired Workout Booklet with over 150 pages of Video Game Inspired Character Workout Routines.
Recently I’ve been making mention to our “Top Character Workouts List among SHJ” more and more, so I wanted to be able to come back and re-evaluate some of the characters on this list.
In this case only one of our video game characters from the blow list made the cut, but some of these workouts are still among the most popular on the entire site.
But, without further ado, let’s get right into it.
TOP FIVE VIDEO GAME CHARACTER WORKOUTS
Number One: Kratos
You guys had to see this one coming.
Our Kratos Workout Routine is one of the most popular workouts on the entire site and is ALWAYS making our top listicles, even up against the most popular superhero and anime characters.
If you’re looking for a super intense workout that is also built around growing huge muscle like Kratos, this one is for you.
I know we have a lot of Academy members who continuously come back to this workout using the Upgrade Tools inside The Academy.
You can check out the Kratos Workout here.
Number Two: Assassin’s Creed Parkour
Who wouldn’t want to be able to move like an assassin from Assassin’s Creed?
We’ve actually had two different Assassin Creed Workouts, one of which was inspired directly off of Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed, but the one I’m referring to is actually our Assassin’s Creed Parkour Workout!
This one is one of three workout routines we share time and time again for members who are looking to get into parkour!
You can check out the Assassin’s Creed Parkour Workout Routine here.
Number Three: Doomguy
I can not tell you how many people specifically asked for a Doomguy workout.
Once we opened up the doors to more workouts inspired by video game characters the requests continued to flood the site!
I am really happy with the way this one came out, and the members who requested it also agree.
It’s a perfect mix of Marine style training, strength, endurance and calisthenics!
You can check out the Doomguy Workout Routine here.
Number Four: Link
I don’t think we can have video game workouts and forget about Link.
Link is such a versatile character that building out his workout routine was extremely fun.
We were able to obviously use a handful of calisthenics, but also keep in mind all the weapons and stunts he’s able to pull off, while continuously running for what feels like ages (at least in some variations of the games) and add endurance to build off that as well.
You can check out the Link Workout Routine here.
Number Five: Sagat
Last but not least is our Sagat workout from Capcom’s Street Fighter!
This one actually isn’t one of the most popular workouts on the site, BUT it’s one that I share over and over again with our mixed martial arts workout routines and resources.
It’s among a handful of five to ten different MMA resources I specifically share because it combines all the different training styles you’re going to want to take advantage of if mixed martial arts training is the style you prefer.
You can check out the Sagat Workout Routine here.
BONUS WORKOUTS
As always, I do have a couple others I want to share for the list that I think are great runner-ups.
Here’s an extra handful of Video Game Character Inspired Workouts I think you would appreciate:
That’s a wrap.
