We’re back for more jump rope workouts!
I put a pause on them here and there and then I end up getting tons of requests from The SHJ Army asking for them back.
We have a bunch of superheroes already in our Jump Rope Database, but I want to build out even more anime character inspiration so we have more jump rope circuits floating around our Anime Workouts Database as well.
Being that we don’t have THAT many already in there: I still want to hit some of the frontrunners from our favorite anime.
While we don’t have a full mini-database devoted to One Piece Workouts just yet, we are working our way there with a bunch of One Piece inspired workouts already on the site.
Don’t have a jump rope!?
Here’s my list of the Top 5 Jump Ropes and Speed Ropes for Every Fitness Level.
So if you love One Piece and Luffy…
Here are a handful of other One Piece characters we’ve drawn inspiration from:
- Monkey D. Luffy Workout Routine
- Roronoa Zoro Workout Routine
- White Beard Workout Routine
- Shanks Workout Routine
- Portgas D. Ace Workout Routine
- Sanji Workout Routine
- Gol D. Roger Workout Routine
- Monkey D. Garp Workout Routine
So clearly we’re getting VERY close to a One Piece dedicated mini-workout-database within our Workout Database – which we normally build out at ten different workouts.
If you don’t feel like counting: this workout you’re currently reading brings us to nine!
Since we’ve already seen Luffy before and we’ve broken down his abilities and biography, we don’t be doing that here, BUT I do want to mention that this workout will be geared towards Luffy’s lean, toned and slender physique.
Think you’re ready?
The Luffy Inspired Jump Rope Workout
Training Volume:
One Workout
(To Be Repeated)
Explanation:
Our new jump rope workouts can be completed in multiple different formats and are extremely easy to scale. They emulate our Superhuman System and other Core Program training and are incredible for both beginner and advanced users. You can complete them by doing the “Rounds” as sets (and breaking in between), or complete the entire thing as a circuit with no break (while keeping track of your time and looking to improve the next time you do it). You can also scale by dropping the sets, or scaling the movements; as well as adding breaks where needed.
Also, don’t forget to eventually level up your jump rope and/or speed rope as you progress through these jump rope workouts.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & tradition pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
