We’ve been seeing more and more listicles pop up at SHJ.
Which means you guys have been enjoying them.
These have been in either the form of workout routine listicles (which hopefully help you find workouts on the site more easily, like this one), or our newest category of fitness gear articles.
These Top Superhero, Anime and Character Workout Routines are our top ever USED and chosen by The SHJ Army…AKA: YOU!
**We have seen the Top 10 Male Celebrity Workouts EVER as well.**
We have well over five hundred workout routines on the site now compiling what is the most comprehensive Workout Database on the internet, and more requests coming in every single day, but this should be a good start to help you find some of the characters that might be hidden in the blog.
Of course, there’s also always the search bars [that are all over the site], but sometimes I have a brain fog and can’t think of the characters I want to see as well.
So…don’t worry about it!Â
Starting with the number one most popular (used, downloaded, viewed, etc.) character from all categories (superhero, anime, video game, etc.) and making our way down the list, let’s do this!
The Goku Workout Routine
First on the list is our favorite Super Saiyan.Â
We love Dragon Ball Z here at SHJ, and even have a full category page devoted to Dragon Ball Z Inspired Workouts.
Not only do I have my own obsession for it, but The SHJ Army has made it pretty clear they feel the same; utilizing Goku’s workout most out of every single character themed workout (regardless of the category) on the entire site!
I guess the whole “Train Insaiyan” thing fits well here, huh?
We started with a Dragon Ball Z Themed Workout and made our way to tons of DBZ workouts, leading the way with the legendary super saiyan himself.

The All Might Workout Routine
After reading through this list and seeing the trend that is currently being made (more on that later), it makes complete sense why All Might falls in at the number two slot.
After I wrote the All Might Workout I had SO many requests for more My Hero Academia workouts, and some of those don’t fall far behind.
We always have a hard time deciding whether we should be prioritizing Deku or All Might, but while I say “don’t fall far behind”, that’s comparitvely speaking to the hundreds and hundreds of other workout routines on the site. If you take a look at the popularity of just All Might vs Deku it’s actually a landslide!
That’s one of the reasons we decided to make one of the newer Mega Paths in The Academy a “Deku to All Might” path, coming off others like Kakarot to Goku and Robin to Nightwing, for example.
The All Might Workout focuses in on strength and power, and while some of our other MHA workouts revolve around smaller student builds and utilize calisthenics, All Might’s takes on the heavy weights!

The Viking Workout Routine
Okay, this one surprised me more than any other character on the list.
This one isn’t even a character and it beat out some of our main superheroes….
When I first wrote this one we were introducing The Viking Nutrition Class into The Academy and people went crazy for it.
I mean, c’mon, with shows like Game of Thrones, Vikings, and The Last Kingdom (to name just a few), who the hell doesn’t want to train like a viking?
Which leads me to my next question..
Should we be ready to see a whole new onslaught of themed workouts like this one?Â
For example…Spartans, Knights, Samurais, Gladiators and more?
Fun fact: Similar to The Viking Nutrition Class inside The Academy we also have Nutrition Classes for Spartans, Samurais and more (like Monks, Greek Gods and more).
Okay, okay, but we’re getting off topic here.Â
Our next character on the list is one that I had made an image for fully aware he’d be on the list, but completely shocked that he wasn’t higher…

The Batman Workout Routine
The SHJ Army LOVES The Bat Family.
LOVES it. Like the most requests EVER when we first started our character themed workouts.
On top of the countless Batman actors like Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, and Robert Pattinson, we’ve also seen so many characters within the bat family that I don’t even think I can name them all off the top of my head.
You’re right. I’m damn sure going to at least try.
The SHJ Army’s Batman obsession spreads out into Nightwing as well so remembering that is a good start to get my list going.
We’ve literally seen: Batman (obviously), Nightwing, Nightwing Cosplay Guide, Nightwing Calisthenics w/ Video Guide, Catwoman, Batwoman, Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and countless villains and other celebrities that directly coincide with this lot.
Can you see why a Robin to Nightwing Mega Path in The Academy was our first choice?

The Kratos Workout Routine
This is one of my favorites on the list.
But not just because I love Kratos and God of War.
I’m super excited this one made it to the top five for a slew of different reasons actually.
I’m extremely excited that one of our Video Game Inspired Workouts made it to the top of the list, AND, I’m excited that it happened to be Kratos directly after he got some love on a new article alongside Goku from our newest contributor Jake.
This article is titled Five Character Transformations to Follow in 2020 and it’s definitely a super fun read!
And I only gave away two of them, so no excuses…go check it out!
We started with a Dragon Ball Z Themed Workout and made our way to tons of DBZ workouts, leading the way with the legendary super saiyan himself.

BONUS WORKOUT ROUTINES
You had to know I couldn’t just end the listicle there.
I love bonuses too much…
Plus, it also didn’t seem fair that Spider-Man was basically tied with Kratos and he wasn’t even going to share some of the spotlight, so I decided to add in the next tier of characters that came really close to the top slots.
Here’s they are with some links to their workouts:
Is it starting to make sense why we have a full page devoted to our Dragon Ball Z Inspired Workouts?
Oh, and while I’m asking questions, do you see the clear trend that this article had?
The trend is that The SHJ Army freakin’ loves anime workouts.
Which means we’re going to keep them coming (figures I planned out and started writing a Marvel AND a DC inspired workout this week…).
We’ve seen a decent amount of characters across the grid now, and I was actually slightly surprised how high the numbers were for anime while Naruto characters fell so short…
BUT, before I keep going on my anime rant, I do have a question for you before you go…
Do you have any other suggestions for historic warriors?
Off the top of my head I came up with Spartans, Knights, Samurais, and even Gladiators…
Who else would you like to see?
