The Most Powerful Invincible Characters of All Time is a list of the most powerful characters in the series we’ve seen so far.
As Season 2 is still slated to release sometime in 2022, we are basing this list on the first action-packed season of the show.
Invincible is a show about superheroes, except it’s got a dark twist, and unlike some superhero shows (cough, Teen Titans Go, cough) doesn’t shy away from showing the blood and gore of the battles between these heroes and villains. While the big reveal at the end might shock some people, it wasn’t as surprising to others as there were so many hints to it throughout the season.
Honestly, this list was far easier to create because it’s pretty clear from the show who are the strongest characters. Even if you don’t know what their powers are or the background of each hero or villain, it’s plain to see that they have some unique abilities, which makes it easier to place them on this list.
BUT, before I rant about the power level throughout the show TOO much (might have already done that), I do want to point out that Invincible is one of the most popular shows for inspired workout requests here on the site.
We already have a few Invincible character workouts up on the site, and as we get closer to season 2, more character workouts might be uploaded depending on the demand for them.
If you like listicles like this one, here are a few more I think you might like:
- The Most Powerful Baki Characters of All Time
- Top Ten Most Powerful Superheroes with No Powers
- Top 10 Most Powerful Marvel Characters of All Time
Of course, we’ve also done a handful of “Most Powerful” and “Most Popular” for other anime so if you’d like to check those out you can visit our other listicles here.
For this list, I looked at notable websites like Fandom, CBR, and Herosfact for the placement of characters. They mostly have a consensus about who places in their top ten list, but the rest of the placements I gathered from Herosfact, which had a more extensive Top 25 list.
As always, leave your comments below if you were expecting other characters!
THE MOST POWERFUL INVINCIBLE CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME
Number Twenty-Five: Shrinking Rae
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Starting off our list of The Most Powerful Invincible Characters of All Time we have the Guardians of the Globe’s own Shrinking Rae!
I mean, can you shrink yourself down to the size of an ant at will?
Well me neither. Aside from her shrinking ability though, Rae (real name unknown) has a genius-level IQ and together with Robot (Rex Conners) are the strategists in the newly formed team. What makes her powerful is the fact that she beat out several other heroes to earn her spot on the team. Even if you’ve got strength if you don’t know how to use it, what good is that? And while Shrinking Rae might not be the strongest on the team, that doesn’t stop her from kicking villain butt.

Number Twenty-Four: Kursk
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Villain
Coming in at number twenty-fourth on the list of the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the villain, Kursk!
Kursk is a human with the power of electrokinesis, meaning that he can generate and control electricity. He uses this to shock humans and even superheroes and to commit heinous crimes. He was hired by Machine Head when the mob boss found out that Invincible and Titan were going to storm his building. Kursk actually got a few good hits on the neophyte Invincible but was subdued by Robot and Monster Girl when the Guardians came to Invincible’s rescue.
Kursk at SHJ:

Number Twenty-Three: Black Samson (Markus Grimshaw)
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
At number twenty-third among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the only former member left of the original Guardians team, Black Samson!
Black Samson was a former member of the original Guardians of the Globe and had super strength, stamina and durability. However, he resigned from the team when his powers started to fade away and almost disappear completely. Afterward, he developed a power suit that could simulate his strength but it was never the same. When the new Guardians of the Globe team was formed, he was one of those selected, partly due to his reputation and his experience and partly out of Robot’s respect for him.

Number Twenty-Two: Mauler Twins
Race: Unknown
Hero or Villain: Villain
Next up among our most powerful Invincible characters of all time are the Mauler Twins!
The Mauler Twins are a duo of super-powered clones who have super strength and genius-level intellect. They are the first villains we see in the pilot episode of the show. They emerge from underground right in front of the White House and startle passers-by and a couple of Secret Service agents guarding the entrance.
The only negative about these villains is that they are constantly bickering about who the original is. It’s the drawback of making a clone with the exact same mind. Regardless, the Mauler Twins give any regular hero a rough go-around. They are only subdued when the Guardians of the Globe and Omni-Man crash their attack on the White House.

Number Twenty-One: Titan
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Neutral
At number twenty-one in our list of the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the rocky (cuz he’s encased in rock, get it?) enforcer, Titan!
Titan is able to encase his entire body in rock at will, and when covered in rock, has super-strength, stamina, and durability. He was able to tussle with Invincible and even get a few good punches in. Mark is later approached by Titan saying that he needs his help to get out of debt and out from under the thumb of a gang boss named Machine Head. They are able to defeat Machine Head with the help of the Guardians of the Globe, and later, Titan is seen entering the building and claiming Machine Head’s place as the leader of the gang.

Number Twenty: Machine Head
Race: Cyborg
Hero or Villain: Villain
In twentieth place in our list of most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the gang leader, Machine Head!
Machine Head is the former leader of a city gang and is the former employer of the crime enforcer, Titan. He is part-cyborg and can absorb data through the use of interfacing electrical devices with his data port at the back of his head. He is confronted by Invincible and by Titan who demands to be released from his employ.
Machine Head responds by unleashing six super villains, including Battle Beast, to fight Invincible and Titan. They almost lose, until the Guardians of the Globe step in. With their help, Machine Head is captured by the Global Defense Agency, and later on, Titan takes his place as the new gang leader.

She has the ability to duplicate herself easily with each duplicate being cognizant and in complete control of themselves. The number of clones she can produce is currently unknown. She later becomes a member of the new Guardians of the Globe along with teammates Robot and Rex Splode.

Number Eighteen: Atom Eve (Samantha Eve Wilkins)
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
At number eighteen among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the girl who can literally manipulate any form of matter, Atom Eve!
Eve Wilkins is a high school student who goes to the same school as Mark Grayson aka Invincible. However, she is also a member of the superhero team, Teen Team along with Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and Robot. When Mark sees her in action when he tries and fails to beat the Flaxons by himself, he later approaches her in school and she introduces him to her team.
After finding out that her boyfriend Rex is cheating on her, she leaves the team and becomes her own hero, helping anyone who needs help and building her own base of operations deep in the jungle and away from prying eyes.
Atom Eve at SHJ:
NO WORKOUT AVAILABLE…YET
Number Seventeen: Doc Seismic
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Villain
In seventeenth place in our list of most powerful Invincible characters is Doc Seismic!
Doc Seismic is a minor villain in the series and is the first villain that Atom Eve and Invincible fight together after Eve leaves Teen Team. He is a villain who has geokinesis, or the ability to control the earth (kinda like Earth benders from Avatar). He is a senile old man who has dementia and sometimes goes off the rails and starts destroying towns by causing massive earthquakes. Now that’s a scary geriatric. But, he is defeated by Atom Eve and Invincible before he could demolish Mt. Rushmore. Thank the founding fathers.
Doc Seismic at SHJ:
NO WORKOUT AVAILABLE…YET
Number Sixteen: Rex Splode (Rex Sloan)
Clan: Senju
Hero or Villain: Hero (Kind Of)
In sixteenth place on our list of the most powerful Invincible characters is the explosive hero, Rex Splode!
His hero name is a bit on-the-nose as he literally can cause explosions. He can create explosions from his body or can store them up and use them as bombs during battle. If he’d be likened to any character, it would be Bakugo from My Hero Academia as they have a similar set of powers.
However, while his powers are pretty cool, his behavior isn’t. His arguments are like that of a child and he looks down on others and is quite judgmental. He also cheats on his girlfriend, Atom Eve, with their fellow teammate, Dupli-Kate when Eve leaves their headquarters to attend the funeral for the Guardians of the Globe.
Rex Splode at SHJ:
NO WORKOUT AVAILABLE…YET
Number Fifteen: Monster Girl (Amanda)
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
In fifteenth place in our list of the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is Monster Girl!
Monster Girl has the ability to transform into her Monster form. In this form, she has super strength, stamina, and durability. However, the drawback is that once she changes back, she gets a bit younger than before. It got to a point that she is now a 24-year-old woman in the body of a 10-year-old child.
She now only sparingly transforms as she fears eventually becoming so young that she wouldn’t be able to care for herself in her normal form.
Monster Girl at SHJ:

Number Fourteen: Robot (Rudolph Connors)
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Villain
At number four among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time we move into the leader of Teen Team and the Guardians of the Globe, Robot aka Rudolph Connors!
Robot is, well, a robot. He has use of a high IQ and computing power and can create strategies based on information he gathers in battle. He can use this data to alter his fighting tactics mid-battle and win against multiple opponents. He was originally a human but was born with a unique deformity that prevented him from living a normal life. Thus, he built himself an army of robots that could tap into their originator’s thoughts and carry them out.
He is thought to be a hero-turned-villain but it seems that it was all so that he could obtain a normal body of his own. After releasing the clone criminals the Mauler Twins, he hires them to create a body for him using the DNA that he would obtain for them. It’s later found out that he did all this deception so that he could have a normal body and so that Monster Girl wouldn’t feel so alone by being the only child hero on the team.
Robot at SHJ:

Number Thirteen: Damien Darkblood
Race: Demon
Hero or Villain: Hero
Coming in and making it at the thirteenth place is the Invincible universe’s version of John Constantine and Etrigan – Damien Darkblood!
Similar to Etrigan, Damien is a demon who was wrenched from Hell and is trapped in the human realm. He aids the Global Defense Agency from time to time and is brought in to solve the mystery of who killed the Guardians of the Globe in such a brutal way. He can turn himself invisible and he has a keen sense of smell. He thinks he has solved the case of the Guardians’ murders when Cecil has him banished back to Hell using a restored tome of incantations.
Damien Darkblood at SHJ:

Number Twelve: Cecil Stedman
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Coming in at number twelve among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the leader of the Global Defense Agency, Cecil Stedman!
Cecil is a teleporter. He can transport himself to any place just by thinking about where he wants to go. He uses this skill to command the entire Global Defense Agency and keep track of any and all threats to the United States and the rest of the world. With his teleportation ability, he can easily distract opponents long enough for his troops to get in position to neutralize them. He displays this tactic when he tries to give more time for the GDA to send their last resort to stop Omni-Man when re reveals his true intentions.

Number Eleven: Green Ghost (Alana)
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Coming in at number one among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the Green Ghost!
Green Ghost’s real name is Alana. She’s a photographer by day, and a Guardian of the Globe when needed. She becomes Green Ghost by swallowing a mystical gem she found. She has the power to become intangible and can cause others to be intangible too by maintaining contact with them. She uses this power to trap the Mauler Twins in cement in the first episode which gives the other members of the team the ability to get a few good hits in before Omni-Man knocks them out.

Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Coming in at number nine on the list of the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the Russian speedster, Red Rush!
Red Rush is a member of the Guardians of the Globe and like the other Guardians protects the world from superhuman threats. He possesses super speed which he uses in evacuating people from crime scenes and subduing superpowered criminals with his lightning-fast punches. He is able to move extremely quickly, unfortunately, not quick enough to be invisible to Omni-Man, who breaks his arm and murders him during his battle with the other Guardians.

Number Eight: Darkwing
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
At number eight among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is Invincible’s version of Batman, Darkwing.
Darkwing is the only human on the team who has no powers but relies on his own physical strength and dexterity to battle opponents. He has a utility belt and gauntlets that allow him to make use of numerous gadgets and weapons to subdue and incapacitate his opponents. Like Batman, he has trained hard and reached the peak of human ability in terms of strength, speed, stamina, etc.
Darkwing at SHJ:

Number Seven: Martian Man
Race: Martian
Hero or Villain: Hero
Next up among our most powerful Invincible characters of all time is Martian Man!
Martian Man has a similar power set to the JLA’s Martian Manhunter, with one exception – he can’t turn intangible. He has superhuman strength, speed, and durability and can turn extremely elastic. He can shapeshift into anything he imagines and can regenerate himself during battle.
This proves useful when the Guardians find themselves fighting their former ally Omni-Man, as Martian Man was able to restrain Omni-Man for a time by wrapping his body around him and giving The Immortal and War Woman the opportunity to deal devasting blows to their friend-turned-foe. However, it was all for naught as Omni-Man killed him along with the rest of the other Guardians.

Number Six: War Woman
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Just missing the top five and coming in at number six among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the Guardians of the Globe’s own War Woman!
War Woman is an Amazonian, much like DC’s Wonder Woman. She owns a company that has numerous charities and does business globally. She possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, and flight. She is one of the founding members of the Guardians of the Globe. However, she was murdered by Omni-Man after he signaled all the guardians to their headquarters and brutally attacked them when they all arrived.

Number Five: Allen the Alien
Race: Unopan
Hero or Villain: Hero
Making it to the top five among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the Surveyor for the Galactic Coalition, Allen the Alien!
Allen is an Unopan, a race of aliens who were nearly wiped out due to the Viltrumite empire. He was chosen as the participant in several experiments to make him the strongest Unopan in order to protect his race from the Viltrumites. However, he was no match for their strength and cruelty.
After his defeat, he was assigned as the Champion Evaluation Officer for the Coalition of Planets, to ensure that each planet had an appropriate champion to protect them against the Viltrumite Empire. When Mark first meets him, it’s under the pretense that he was a galactic threat. However, after learning that a Viltrumite was residing on Earth, Allen said that he would inform the Coalition that Earth was spoken for and that they needn’t be evaluated anymore.

Number Four: Invincible (Mark Grayson)
Race: Human/Part-Viltrumite
Hero or Villain: Hero
At number four among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is our titular hero, Invincible!
Mark Grayson is the son of the greatest hero Earth has ever known, Omni-Man! From a young age, he was told by his father that when he came of age, he would be able to do things that no normal human being could. And that’s all Mark ever dreamed about. He wanted to become a hero like his father was.
When he got his powers, his dad started to train him – hard. What he thought would be an enjoyable time with his father, playing catch 30,000 feet in the air and catching baseballs traveling at Mach 2, turned out to be a hellish training period that would hone him into a powerful hero. He’s still got a long way to go before he reaches his dad’s power level, but Invincible is so far true to his name – he’s got a will to live and a will to fight that seems never to fade, and he’s willing to get stronger to protect the people he loves and the planet he calls his home.

Number Three: The Immortal
Race: Human
Hero or Villain: Hero
Coming in and making the top three among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is Invincible’s version of a good Vandal Savage, The Immortal
The Immortal has a similar backstory as Vandal Savage from the DC Universe. He was a caveman who was bathed in mysterious light and found that he had increased strength and could never truly die. Eventually, The Immortal joined the super-team called the Guardians of the Globe, and found his purpose in protecting the innocent and fighting for justice.
He is one of the strongest Guardians and was the one person who Omni-Man was actually afraid of when he fought and killed the Guardians in their headquarters. He possesses enhanced strength, speed, flight, and accelerated healing and resurrection. It’s tough to beat a hero who can come back swinging even after you’ve detached his head from his body.

Number Two: Battle Beast
Race: Unknown
Hero or Villain: Villain
Coming in at number two among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is the battle-hungry Battle Beast!
Battle Beast was once the protector of his homeworld, but grew too blood-thirsty and left his planet in search of worthy opponents. He was hired by Machine Head to protect him when Titan and Invincible barged into his building to bring him to justice and thereby free Titan from his employ. During the fight, Battle Beast almost ends up killing Invincible if not for the timely interruption of the new Guardians of the Globe.
Battle Beast possesses immense physical strength and is extremely durable, having been able to withstand a direct hit from Invincible and a full electric attack from Black Samson. In fact, even before the fight ended, Battle Beast remarked that this was not entertaining to him at all and that he craved for stronger opponents.
Battle Beast at SHJ:

Number One: Omni-Man (Nolan Grayson)
Race: Viltrumite
Hero or Villain: Villain
Coming in at number one among the most powerful Invincible characters of all time is Omni-Man!
I’ll admit at the start of the series, I was super into Omni-Man because for one thing, he’s voiced by J.K. Simmons, and who doesn’t love the guy? He brought J. Jonah Jameson to life, and no one can ever take his place in that regard. Anyway, Omni-Man is basically the Superman of the series and has all the powers that he has – flight, super speed, super strength, laser eyes, minus the ultra-spectrum sight (microscopic sight, x-ray vision, etc.).
Like Superman, Omni-Man is an alien living on Earth. The planet he’s from is called Viltrum, and by his initial explanation, it’s a completely peaceful planet that has rooted out and eliminated all poverty, hunger, sickness, and war. However, he holds a dark secret which he’s kept from the rest of the world. Wanna find out what it is? Watch the series.
Who else would you pull from the honorable mentions to bring up to this list?
