Too bad she’s already taken by a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.
You know…Tony Stark…
Just kidding. Kind of..
Nowadays I immediately think of Pepper Potts and all my favorite Iron Man and Avenger’s movies when I see Gwyneth Paltrow – but she’s so much more than that to me.
For example, I also know her as young Wendy from Hook which is one of my favorite Robin Williams movies – and also Shakespeare in Love (which as you guys know I graduated as an English Major from Stony Brook so Shakespeare is my jam).
But this is on top of the fact that she’s a total babe and has always kept a stunning, thin physique.
Which is what we’re here to break down in more detail.
Gwyneth Paltrow Stats:
Height: 5’9
Weight: (approximate) 130 lbs
Age: 46 years old
Gwyneth Paltrow is actually really tall.
Especially among women we’ve seen at SHJ.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and among the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.

Gwyneth Paltrow Diet and Nutrition
Gwyneth Paltrow has tried some pretty abnormal diets in the past.
But, overall, her diet is pretty normal and “clean”.
She also utilizes a lot of vitamins and supplementation to make up for what our diets lack, she tells Shape:
Shape:Â What else is in your wellness routine?
GP:Â I definitely take supplements. The way the modern food system is, we’re always depleted of nutrients, so I take a good multivitamin, and a fish oil, and then I have other herbs for various things. I also try to meditate, but I run out of time a lot. And I love to take an infrared sauna; it’s really detoxifying. It’s a real gift to myself. I haven’t tried cryotherapy yet because I’m kind of scared to, but they say it’s great for pain. Our diets are so full of inflammatory foods that I think we need to do increasingly extreme things to combat it.
She does admit to trying some odd diets, though. Stating:
Shape:Â What about your diet?
GP: At Goop they call me “GP the guinea pig,” because I’ll try anything. I just tried a goat milk cleanse for eight days to rid my system of parasites. That was really interesting. It’s only goat’s milk and herbs. The theory is that we all have parasites, and they love the milk protein. So if you eat nothing else, they all come out of the intestinal wall and then you kill them with the herbs. I had to try it for Goop, but I felt so good after it. But usually, I just try to eat pretty clean during the day—good proteins and lots of vegetables and not too much grain or sugar, and nothing baked—and then I tend to eat whatever I want for dinner.
Also makes sure to add:
I cook every weekend, but during the week, it’s hard because of my job. I have a bunch of chicken dishes and pasta go-tos, and I do a lot of stir-fry for the kids. I always keep cooked brown rice in the fridge. Then it takes two minutes to chop up some vegetables, make a nice sauce, and you’re done.
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
We’ve also seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.Â
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.
You can check out our Nutrition Pillars for more information and articles on all of the above and more.

Gwyneth Paltrow Workout Routine Research
Gwyneth Paltrow swears by her trainer Tracy Anderson.
We’ve seen Anderson train a handful of other celebs as well.
Paltrow states:
Gwyneth Paltrow: You know, I’m a total die-hard Tracy Anderson fan. Her method works so well for me. I’ve seen all these fads come and go, and nothing works for me the way that Tracy’s approach does, so I really stick with it. She’s amazing.
Shape: Why do you think her method is so successful?
GP:Â A lot of people create their methods as business people, but Tracy’s coming at it as an inventor, and someone who is obsessed with the human body and how to change it. Her mind is always calculating ratios of this and that, what glucose does to a muscle, and what happens when this hormone is running through your system. She’s on another level.
I stream her whenever I can when I’m in New York, and when I’m in California, I try to go to her classes five days a week for an hour. But now I’m so busy with my company, that I only do it three or four times a week. When I started doing her method, I had 20 pounds to lose, and I had just had a baby, so I did it six days a week for a long time. I did it for so long it’s in my DNA now.
Shape:Â What fitness trends do you have your eye on?
GP: The other boutique fitness class that I like a lot is The Class (Taryn Toomey). I do it once in a while. For me, it’s more of an emotional release than a workout—though it is a hard workout.
She also told Women’s Health that she goes to see Tracy every morning, stating:
But it depends on the day—I definitely don’t always feel like doing it. I’ve made it a habit, just like brushing your teeth. That’s how you have to look at it. I’ve been a Tracy Anderson fanatic for over a decade, I’m an investor in her company, so yeah, I go every morning.
So don’t be shocked to see a high volume of training days even though the training style isn’t overly intensive.
Don’t be afraid!
The good part is that it’s totally okay to utilize classes to keep up with Paltrow.Â
That and a little sun while out for a jog.
