I needed some Pokemon characters at SHJ.
As you guys may know if you follow the YouTube Channel, I caught every single Pokemon and beat the most recent Nintendo Switch Pokemon released game within 36 hours of launch.
On top of that I have my tattoo appointment coming up next week, and it just MIGHT have something to do with Pokemon as well.
So I felt this one was definitely a good fit for us…and me…
I also figured we can make this one more of a “cosplay” oriented routine that I create for you guys considering we’re never really shown the characters from our favorite Pokemon shows/games working out at all.
Other than maybe running and swimming and such (which I will utilize in the research section).
Misty Stats:
Height: (Fan Guesstimates) 5’2
Weight: (Fan Guesstimates) 120 lbs.
Age: 10 (as of EP 3 which debuted in 1997-1998)
Powers: No
Real Name: Misty
Misty is really short. Which makes sense being that she’s shown to be 10-11 years old when we see her.
But, even then, she’s not quite as short as Ash!
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero!

Misty Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hellboy may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!

Misty Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
This is where I get to break down the “how” and “why” of the workout we’re going to build based on the characters, in this case Misty’s, powers and/or abilities.
Right off the bat I’ll let you know that she doesn’t have any specific abilities or powers that we need to know about this one other than being blessed enough to be in a world with Pokemon.
That being said, she is a gym leader for a Water Type gym.
Which is why I mentioned not only running, but swimming.
A lot of the work to cosplay as Misty will come from your nutrition, but the running, surfing, and swimming work that I am going to also be programming will be a good way to stay in your deficit (in order to lose weight).
Misty doesn’t exactly have toned arms and muscles coming out of every corner, but we will have a bit of bodyweight stuff just to tone you up and get you ready for surfing.
And, if you don’t know why I’m listing surfing – I thought it went without saying – but we ALL should know Misty surfs on the back of her famous Starmie!

Running is a fun way (well, fun for some) to help support your caloric deficit (which you’ll need to slim down), while also supporting optimal health in many different ways.

Misty Pokemon Cosplay Workout: Swimming Program
Ever since we saw swimming within Nathalie Emmanuel’s routine we’ve been utilizing the same beginner programming she uses when we program it in other characters.
That programs is from Annie Emerson that is shared on Speedo.
You can find that here.
Feel free to add this into your weekly training if you enjoy swimming as much as Misty!
