Do I even have to say it?
Probably not, but I’m going to say it anyway.
Ruby Rose is a total babe.
She’s been in Orange Is The New Black, xXx: Return of Zander Cage, John Wick: Chapter Two, Pitch Perfect 3, and is soon to be our Batwoman for the CW’s new show..
Her Instagram explains this in a rather fun way. Her bio states:
Inmate who fought a zombie apocalypse. Went after John Wick. Was recruited by Xander Cage. Discovered MEG, bumped into the Bella’s and became Batwoman
C’mon. I wish I could have that as a bio!
Ruby Rose is also completely against body shaming, like we’ve seen other celebs fight again (Grant Gustin, Camila Mendes, and more). I’ll share more on that topic later as well.
Ruby Rose Stats:
Height: 5’7
Weight: (approximate) 128 lbs.
Age: 32 years old
Ruby Rose is technically just slightly above average among the women we’ve seen at SHJ.
By like an inch…
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and amongst the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.

Ruby Rose Diet and Nutrition
Ruby Rose is a vegan.
She follows a plant-based diet, like we’ve seen from some other celebrities, and this is what she finds to be sustainable for her.
As we know, sustainability and finding the diet that works best FOR YOU, is the most important part.
An article on LiveKindly.co shares a story from Ruby Rose’s Instagram, which they also break down by the contents within. I’ll share the picture below, which you can click on to enlarge.
The snapshot included a tower of Kite Hill vegan yogurts, several flavors of Rebel superfood beverages, a package Kite Hill ravioli and various cheeses, Miyoko’s mozzarella, Follow Your Heart’s VeganEgg, Unreal candy, Vego Chocolate, So Delicious creamer, Field Roast vegan meat, vegan wine, La Croix, and a bag of fresh cherries. The star jokingly captioned, “Our fridge is so…healthy.”
Thanks for the breakdown! Made my job nice and easy.
And, remember when I said I’d also be sharing about Ruby Rose and her thoughts on body-shaming?
That time is now, so you can skip ahead if you’re just interested in the dietary information.
In an article from People Mag they share:
Ruby Rose is tired of people projecting their own body insecurities onto her.
The actress defended herself on Instagram on Wednesday after her followers said she looked “anorexic” at the CDFA/Vogue Fund Fashion Show.
“Body shaming S—- ME. It’s so frustrating,” Rose, 31, wrote in a note posted to her Instagram story. “Not because I care what someone thinks of my body. I love my body when I don’t work out and I am soft and I love it when I train hard and feel strong.”
“I hate it because it worries fans or shames them. I hate it because it uses no logic and basically is just someone projecting their experience and expectations on others.”
“I trained my ass off for three action films, I used to be a boxer. My body is just my body it fluctuates and it changes depending on how hard I train,” she says.
I want to specifically share this because it’s such a big issue, and I want to show that even gorgeous celebrities like Ruby Rose go through this. Everyone goes through body changes, and nobody should be shamed for how they look.
Okay, but on with the nutrition information.
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to HAVE the strict guidelines.
We know Rose is a vegan and follows a plant-based diet. And we know a lot of other celebrities do different methods that they find sustainable. So I recommend finding what works for YOU.
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.
You can check out our Nutrition Pillars for more information and articles on all of the above and more.

Ruby Rose Workout Routine Research
One thing we learned from the article with People Mag is that Ruby Rose used to be a boxer.
We also found out that she’s trained her ass off for multiple roles, but sometimes goes through periods of not training as hard.
And, that’s completely okay.
In an article with Elle they break down some other sources regarding Ruby Rose’s training for xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
They start by saying:
Probably three or four days a week we did sniper training, then the other days were just exercise — fitness, strength … a lot of strength!” Rose told News.com.au.
Some more quotes from Rose include this [regarding her training]:
“I do a lot of work (in the movie) like climbing a tree in the Dominican Republic at 4am with just silk ropes … and I’d have to pull my body weight up, after ten hours of shooting the day before.”
“I made sure I did so much training that I let them (producers) feel confident in me doing them,” she said.
Rose wanted to be able to do her own stunts.
And she made sure she trained enough to be able to do them!
So, expect to see boxing, bodyweight training, and weightlifting in the workout.
I can’t program you anything for sniper training, but I will make sure to include activity days if you’re looking to take it up a notch.
Let’s do this.

Ruby Rose Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3-5+ days per week
Explanation:
Ruby has been a boxer, and has also gone through periods of training much harder than usual. For that reason I’ll be programming a moderate “in-between” which will include 3 days of bodyweight and weightlifting, while giving you the opportunity to up the training by using Coach Derek’s MMA and Felix’s parkour training.
