The babe behind Legally Blonde.
Who has confirmed the third coming in 2020, and will also go on to be Tinker Bell!
Pretty amazing stuff following roles like This Means War, Big Little Lies, A Wrinkle In Time, Wild and more.
Even with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe looking as shredded as he does, Reese Witherspoon continues to keep up with a rocking body.
Which only helps the fact that she’s already stunning.
Reese Witherspoon Stats:
Height: 5’1
Weight: (approximate) 115 lbs.
Age: 43 years old
Reese Witherspoon is pretty short.
She’s under the average by quite a few inches and even one of the shortest women we’ve seen at SHJ.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and among the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.
I write these routines for anyone and everyone.

Reese Witherspoon Diet and Nutrition
Reese Witherspoon does not believe in crash diets.
Let’s get that part out of the way right off the bat.
Insider shares this fact with us from an interview with Witherspoon, and also tells us these awesome things about her and her nutrition:
- She enjoys drinking green smoothies
- She particularly loves nutritionist Kimberly Snyder’s Glowing Green Smoothie.
- She consumes small meals and snacks throughout the day
- She indulges in moderation
- And she makes room for indulgences like fried chicken and her grandma’s biscuits.
And a few things that all the sources (Delish, Eat This, PopSugar, etc) sharing interviews about her diet agree on is the fact that she definitely likes to sneak in her Southern-style favorite foods, get in all her greens (whether that’s smoothies or not), and she is definitely a fan of caffeine.
Her former trainer, Michael George, advises us and Witherspoon:
“Eat clean and healthy with small meals and snacks daily,”
Which, as you can tell from our information from Insider, Witherspoon utilizes on a daily basis.
And, remember how I said she doesn’t believe in crash diets?
The exact words came from her mouth in an interview with US Weekly, as she would much rather indulge in moderation while staying healthy:
“I don’t believe in crash dieting or anything like that,”
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to HAVE the strict guidelines.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting(something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.
You can check out our Nutrition Pillars for more information and articles on all of the above and more.

Reese Witherspoon Workout Routine Research
Aside from Witherspoon’s awesome, sustainable friendly diet, she also has a pretty fun workout routine as well.
She likes to switch it up from what we can tell, and from what she has shared.
As you can tell from the above pictures, Witherspoon is a fan of an occasional jog.
Delish shares:
The Big Little Lies star has been known to go for jogs near her Los Angeles home, and told Women’s Health she loves to do hour long Body By Simone workouts — a combination of dance, strength training, and stretching — a few times a week. “Physical strength is important,” she said.
We have seen a good handful of women celebs at SHJ utilize Body By Simone workouts, so we’re no stranger to that.
If you follow Witherspoon on Instagram you also know she loves her yoga.
Witherspoon is known for getting in regular yoga sessions, as well as going on yoga retreats!
Another thing we can tell from Witherspoon’s Instagram account (aside from confirmation on her love of green smoothies, coffee, and indulgences) is that she’s not afraid to get outside and use her fitness.
Witherspoon has shared a number of posts of her outdoors hiking and walking trails, as well as other activities that get her moving.
For this one we’ll be incorporating yoga, Body By Simone, outdoor activity and running.

Reese Witherspoon Workout: Cardio Scheduling
Obviously you can decide to utilize all three circuits on different days, but I’d definitely suggest also getting into some running as well just for overall health and extra calorie burn/activity.
Plus, Witherspoon seems to love it.
Here’s a schedule I would use as a beginner, and of course you can scale it down a bit where needed:
Monday: Circuit or Yoga/Activity
Tuesday: Run 2-3 miles
Wednesday: Circuit or Yoga/Activity
Thursday: Run 2-3 miles
Friday: Circuit or Yoga/Activity
Saturday and Sunday: One day off one long distance run 3-5 miles (if you’d like to REALLY step it up)
Reese Witherspoon Workout: Outdoor Activity and Yoga
As you saw within our workout routine research, Witherspoon also loves adding in yoga and outdoor activity such as hiking and just getting outside and moving.
For this reason, I suggest doing the same if you’re not going to be utilizing any of the above training frequently enough.
We have yoga videos [and more] within The Academy, but there’s also tons of other resources to take advantage of on YouTube.
