Eva Longoria has always been a mega babe.
And then she had gave birth and went from gaining her pregnancy weight to losing it all and going right back to being a babe.
So now we get to talk about her post-baby weight loss AND her everyday fitness plan as well.
Longoria is the babe from Desperate Housewives, Harsh Times, The Sentinel, In a World…, and soon to even be the new Dora The Explorer movie titled: Dora and the Lost City of Gold!
No superhero movies for Longoria, but she has definitely seen her fair share of fun roles, and you guys couldn’t imagine how many requests we’ve had for her workout and diet!
I mean, unless of course you’re one of the many who wrote in.
Eva Longoria Stats:
Height: 5’2
Weight: (approximate) 121 lbs.
Age: 44 years old
Eva Longoria is one of the shortest women we’ve ever had on the site.
She might even be tied for THE shortest we’ve ever had.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and among the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.
I write these routines for anyone and everyone.

Eva Longoria Diet and Nutrition
There’s a ton of information out there on Eva Longoria’s fitness regime.
That means diet and nutrition; but also her workout routine as well.
A lot of this comes from her post pregnancy weight loss to jump back into her tip-top-shape.
She tells Us Weekly:
“I haven’t drunk wine. I haven’t eaten sugar. I haven’t seen a carb in a while,” Longoria said in her interview with Us Weekly. “But once I get to Cannes and finish the red carpet, then I’ll be indulging a lot.”
She continued this conversation by saying:
“I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy. You know, it had a baby!” she says. “It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard (on myself) about getting back into shape.”
Brushing off the simplicity of her weight-loss and amazing physique by telling Vogue Australia:
“Everybody thinks there’s some kind of secret to looking good, but it’s not a secret. It’s diet and exercise.”
And we get a full breakdown of her daily nutrition by putting together a few interviews, starting with what she told The Cut:
“After I run, I eat probably the same thing every morning, which is egg whites with spinach and turkey bacon,” she told The Cut.
Telling Hello! about her husband, Jose Baston:
“He likes my breakfasts,” she told Hello!“I change it up. He’s a healthy eater, so I usually do a rice cake with avocado and a fried egg.”
And she told InStyle:
“I could easily be a vegetarian because I love vegetables so much and I feel like L.A. is a place that can support healthy living,” Longoria told InStyle. “I love cooking with vegetables and I have a secret for cooking with vegetables, [which] is that they don’t need a lot. A lot of people cover them in cheese or cover them in a sauce, and vegetables really only need olive oil.”
With two awesome quotes to finish it off from Glam Belleza Latina, and Health Mag:
“I’m definitely a moderation girl, but sometimes I won’t eat sugar for three months. I’ll cut out all sugar and simple carbs that turn into sugar — rice, pasta, bread. I’m not a big carb person anyway, so it’s not that hard,” Longoria told Glam Belleza Latina. “I actually love fish and vegetables. I was raised on vegetables! Anything green — spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts — I crave.”
“I love chicken leg quarters and asparagus,” she told Health. “My most requested thing to cook for friends is Mexican tortilla soup and guacamole and chili-rubbed skirt steak.”
And she definitely makes it apparent that she’s not afraid to indulge and treat herself. A “moderation girl” seems about right for this one.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.Â
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting(something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.

Eva Longoria Workout Routine Research
I can tell you right off the bat that Eva Longoria likes to run and do yoga, but she also has recently turned to the weights as well.
As we’ve seen with a lot of celebrities, her workout routine has evolved over time and she jumps around to different strokes of fitness while still being active.
She told People Mag in 2017:
“I do a lot. I’m a runner, I do yoga, I do pilates. I do SoulCycle and I’m just constantly mixing it up,”
And she posts a bunch of fitness pictures on Instagram; a ton of them being of her yoga sessions.
If you can’t sort through her hundreds of pics on Instagram to find the ones of her striking a yoga pose, don’t worry; she’s also shown doing all her post-pregnancy weight training with new celeb trainer Grant Roberts.
She says:
“I’m working out a lot more and watching what I eat. I’m barely starting to get back into it,” she says. “My workouts now are very serious weight training.”
Some of the movements we see in her and Roberts’ videos/posts are:
- Cable Squat Rows
- PVC Spinal Twists
- Machine Shoulder Press
- Hex Bar Deadlifts
- Weighted Sled Pulls
- Battle Ropes
And she finishes her interview by telling us a bit about her motivation:
“I wanted to get back in shape for my son. It’s hard. It’s a lot of work with children. I’m exhausted. But just to stay in shape and be the healthiest me I can for him.”
Now you just have to find yours to kick this workouts butt.
