Did you know that more than 100 million households watched at least one anime title on Netflix this past year?
Which means it’s only right I bring some Netflix Original animes to SHJ!
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion actually dressed up as Yumeko for Halloween this year, so Kakegurui and Yumeko requests have flooded SHJ, making it even more perfect!
The fact that anime is becoming more and more popular actually makes me so happy, because at the root of SHJ we’re all just nerds trying to unleash our inner superhumans.
The more heroes and characters we have to inspired us and bring in more members of the community…the better!
So here’s to growing our Anime Inspired Workout Database!

Yumeko is right around the average height we’d see among celebrity females at SHJ.
And she’s somewhere in the average range among characters as well.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Yumeko Jabami Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Yumeko Jabami Workout Routine Information (and Research)
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To start us off we’ll put a brief biography right from Yumeko’s Wiki Fandom:
Yumeko Jabami is the main protagonist of Kakegurui. She is a transfer student at Hyakkaou Private Academy and the classmate of Ryota Suzui and Mary Saotome. Yumeko’s family is aligned with the family of Kirari Momobami that challenges her for Hyakkaou Private Academy.
To build on that a bit, especially being that it really doesn’t tell us much information for people who may have not seen the show, I want to also pull the plot for Kakegurui from Wikipedia as well.
Here’s what they tell us:
Second-year transfer student Yumeko Jabami is a beautiful, cheerful and intelligent high school girl at first glance, but deep inside she is a compulsive gambler who gambles for the thrill of it, unlike students that do so for financial or social gain. Unrestrained by rules or logic, and with an exceptional observation ability to see through gambling scams, she quickly disrupts the hierarchy of the school, drawing the attention of the student council who frantically tries to shut her down.
Now, it’s important to note that this routine is going to be built a bit differently than normal.
We’ve had our cosplay workout routines here at SHJ as well, and that is basically the way this one will function as well.
We’ll be building this routine specifically around Yumeko’s physique and overall aesthetic and how YOU can look like her as well.
To build on that, especially for anyone who really does want to cosplay, we’ll also take a look at how they describe her overall appearance:
Yumeko is a very attractive pale-skinned girl with lower waist length black hair that has bangs styled in a hime-cut where it covers her eyebrows along with two curved streaks at the side of her face, brown eyes (her eyes are sometimes seen glowing red whenever she becomes excited in the anime/manga) and a large bust.
She wears the standard female Hyakkaou Private Academy issued uniform; a red blazer with black trim lining the cuffs and collar, a white button-up dress shirt, a dark pleated skirt, a tie and black/grey stockings. As well as the academy’s issued footwear, brown loafers with black soles. She also sports pale pink lipstick, red painted fingernails (sometimes seen as pink) and a ring around her left thumb.
Her standard uniform should be quite easy to find, especially with the increasing popularity of the show, so it really comes down to building her physique.
To do this we’ll revolve our choices around building curves while toning muscle and cutting down fat.
