Have you ever tried training like a vampire?
Now that I think about it, I’m not sure if I have…
Immediately thinking back to all the celebs we’ve ever covered, I can immediately say Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin and Taylor Lautner are definitely familiar with Vampires (they’re wolves), but I can’t think of any other vampire we’ve seen.
Correction: I’m leaving this header paragraph, but after couple minutes of thinking about it I’m adding the obvious celebs: Wesley Snipes (half-vampire), Jessica Biel, and Ryan Reynolds (all a part of the Blade Trilogy).
That being said, Kate Beckinsale has been in a ton of other awesome films aside from all the Underworld movies, and even cool enough, Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman!
Kate Beckinsale Stats:
Height: 5’7
Weight: (approximate) 120 lbs.
Age: 44 years old
Beckinsale stands in as one of the taller women on the site, right in that same range as Daisy Ridley, but not quite as tall as the “tallest” with women like Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Rihanna, Sophie Turner, and Jennifer Lawrence.
She’s just an inch or so above the average to make her in this “taller” range. The average being 5-5-5’6 with women like Margot Robbie, Jennifer Aniston, Katie Cassidy, and a bunch more.
And, all this is good and great, but we can’t leave out the short ladies like Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke, Demi Lovato and more.
But, either way, this is just for fun.
Don’t worry if you’re not in Beckinsale’s range, these routines can be used by anyone and everyone.

Kate Beckinsale Diet and Nutrition
Kate Beckinsale shares some great information with EOnline and Shape that I’m going to share with you here.
One thing she tells Shape is:
“I was a vegetarian for a really long time because I am incredibly squeamish about meat. But when I was filming Pearl Harbor, I didn’t have enough energy, and the trainer I was working with at the time said ‘You’ve got to start eating chicken and fish.’ So I did, and that helped me. Lily and I eat clean—we have a lot of sautéed vegetables like brussels sprouts and broccoli and chicken and fish.
And she continues that thought with by telling us she actually doesn’t drink alcohol (which is huge):
Also, I don’t drink alcohol. I feel [its effects] very quickly, so I’ve never actually had an entire glass of anything alcoholic.”
Many people don’t realize that alcohol is just empty calories they’re putting in their system, so cutting that (and things like soda) is absolutely huge.
It’s actually many peoples kryptonite, which is something we talk about in our Academy.
Beckinsale also tells Shape that she prefers working out in the morning and thinks people should replicate that:
“I basically wake up, eat breakfast, and then work out. I prefer to get it done in the morning. That said, I don’t naturally get up early. It would be much better for me if the entire world went to bed at 4 a.m. and woke up at noon. But it doesn’t, so I’m usually staggering around first thing.”
I personally like training fasted, myself, but I think it’s more of a personal preference thing.

Kate Beckinsale Workout Routine Research
Kate Beckinsale’s workout routine is portrayed well in her interviews as well.
She tells EOnline:
“I work out hard with Gunnar five or six times a week,” Beckinsale revealed, adding, “I do circuit training interspersed with brutal cardio, such as crazy things on a nonmotorized treadmill. That part is torture. But the thing I like about circuit training is that you’re never doing one thing for very long. You get to the point where you almost can’t bear it, and it changes to something else.”
We love circuit training too!
We’ve seen tons of other celebs utilize it within their training as well, and have a full Academy Path devoted to it for people who prefer to use it to reach specific goals.
What she says next is actually pretty awesome:
“I start out absolutely dreading it, do an incredibly punishing workout, bitch about it the whole time, and end up feeling 100 percent better when I leave. Working out is basically nature’s antidepressant,” Beckinsale added.
We’ve seen other celebs, most recently Demi Lovato, also utilize workout in zen-type meditative fashion.
She also mentions that she loves utilizing yoga (which is great, because we always talk about how awesome yoga is, and even have Jedi Path that revolves around it), and goes on to say:
“Hardcore workouts have really made a big difference in my life. I have a lot of internal energy, and intense exercise helps me channel that energy. I find balance by doing a workout that makes me pour sweat. I never was that girl before, but I am now.”
It tends to be a common thing that people find themselves loving the sensation of a brutal workout.
I know I do.
But, speaking of which, I think it’s time to make that brutal workout.
