Do I even have to say it anymore?
Fine. Candice Patton is a total babe.
I don’t know if it’s as significant if I say it for every gorgeous woman celeb that hits SHJ. But, I guess I have to at this point.
Candice Patton made he first “hero” show debut in Heroes back in 2009, and then went on to appear in a bunch of smaller roles in shows like One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Game, prior to becoming The Flash’s Iris West!
But, man are we lucky to have her.
We’ve now seen tons of CW stars, but for this one I’ll just name a few of the bigger names that have carried over into The Flash, including the obvious Grant Gustin (who IS The Flash), Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, Stephen Amell as Arrow, and Caity Lotz as White Canary.

Weight: (approximate) 125 lbs.
Age: 30 years old
Candice Patton is right in the range of “average height” amongst women celebs we see.
And, right around the height that still gives me a chance…
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and amongst the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.

Candice Patton Diet and Nutrition
I found a decent amount of information on Candice Patton’s workout routine and was starting to get worried I wouldn’t find anything about her diet.
Usually when that happens it means the celeb just diet’s intuitively and is active enough to sustain their physique.
But, luck prevailed and I was able to find a few things I’d like to share.
Patton has been quotes stating she stays healthy with her diet by:
“I force myself to make time. I love my job, but being on set all day sometimes gets tiring, but either working out before or after or even during break. I also try to eat healthy, like substitute kale chips for potato chips and try to stay away from fatty foods.”
And continues with her guilty pleasure being:
“French fries, cheese fries, baked potatoes… I love everything that is a potato!”
Which seems like she does actually opt for a sustainable and intuitive diet, while actively being aware and looking for the healthier options.

Candice Patton Workout Routine Research
Patton seems to use a wide variety of training styles, which is something else we see a lot among celebs.
She tells Muscle and Fitness:
“It’s not the most natural feeling, acting against a green screen and pretending to see things that aren’t really there,” says Patton, 26. “But I’m working with choreographers to improve my punching and kicking. Yesterday I was drenched in sweat—it was so much fun.”
So expect to see some mixed martial arts programming from Coach Derek.
Muscle and Fitness finishes off the article with:
When she’s not getting her kicks on set, Patton’s doing hot yoga or enjoying her favorite pastime: car belting. “I love singing at the top of my lungs, windows open—if you drive up next to me, I’ll look at you and just keep singing,” she says, laughing.
And, an interview with Glamour takes in fan questions, which lead Patton to answering a couple about her workout routine as well!

Candice: I’m quite a loner. I realized that I’m very introverted, and I get energy by being alone instead of being with other people. So in my downtime, I’m usually alone, watching Netflix with a glass of wine, or taking a bath. I like to do that. And in L.A., I just got into Soul Cycle. There’s another workout studio I’m obsessed with called Swerve on Third. I really like South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, Kreation, etc. I love hiking in Runyon Canyon. To me, L.A. is home.
Which is eventually followed up with:
Glamour: Let’s talk your workout regimen! @blaugranes15 says “She looks incredible, how does she stay in shape?”
Candice: It’s off and on. I have moments where I’m a workout fiend, and some months where I’m struggling to get to the gym. But I find I’m much happier when I’m active. I love cycling, yoga, Zumba-type classes where I can just dance and be stupid and not care.
Which leads us to believe her workout is just as intuitive and fun as her diet.

Training Volume:
3-5+ days per week
Explanation:
I would recommend being active 3-5 days per week, but I still have “active off-days” containing walking or other fun sports/movements. Being that this routine will be mainly revolving around activities, you can use it upwards of 6-7 days a week if you really wanted to.

Candice Patton Workout Stage One: Typical Programming
A few things quoted directly from Patton are Soul Cycle, Yoga, Zumba-type classes, and hiking. Utilize a few days a week devoted to all of these things, if possible. You can even use The Academy or YouTube if you’d like yoga videos/programming.

Candice Patton Workout Stage Two: MMA and Activity
All heroes should know how to defend themselves.
Plus, Patton mentions working on her kicking and punching with choreographers that leaves her “drenched in sweat”!

Patton also mentions being a workout fiend at the gym sometimes.
She states: “I have moments where I’m a workout fiend, and some months where I’m struggling to get to the gym.”
It’s unclear whether or not Patton means the things she’s mentioned like yoga, Soul Cycle, and Zumba-type classes, but that is likely the case. Either way, if you’d like to get in the gym and utilize weights you could check out some other CW ladies routines like Katie Cassidy, Emily Bett Rickards, and Katrina Law.
