I’m not going to say it.
Okay, screw it, I’ll say it.
Deborah Ann Woll is a total babe.
I loved her in True Blood, and I love her even more in Daredevil!
I know in the comics Karen Page had quite a gruesome experience, which even led to some whiplash against comics and how some women were being portrayed – but wow she has an incredible impact on the show.
Now that we’ve seen our fair share of not only Daredevil celebs, but also Netflix/Marvel Original celebs on the site: I have to stick to strictly naming the Daredevil ones as to not run out of space!
We’ve seen Charlie Cox, Wilson Bethel, Elodie Yung, and Rosario Dawson!
Deborah Ann Woll Stats:
Height: 5’10
Weight: (approximate) 128 lbs.
Age: 33 years old
Deborah Ann Woll is actually very tall compared to most women we’ve seen at SHJ.
She falls amongst the tallest.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and amongst the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.

Deborah Ann Woll Diet and Nutrition
There’s some great information out there on the way Deborah Ann Woll structures her nutrition.
But, first and foremost we should discuss one of her restrictions.
In an article with TV Over Mind they fill us in on the fact that Woll has celiac disease, which causes her to have a reaction if she eats gluten. This is more severe than simply having an intolerance to gluten, and causes Woll to have to restrict it from her diet.
And, The New Potato shares an amazing interview with Woll that gives us a ton of insight into her daily dieting.
The first question starts with:
From start to finish, what would be your ideal food day?
Hm. Tea, more tea and maybe another tea. Is tea a food? It should be. I also really like steak. That’s more occasional but it’s important to treat ourselves sometimes. But I’d definitely include it in my ideal food day.
And they eventually continue their chat about nutrition with:
How do you always start your day? What’s your go to breakfast?
Did I mention tea before? I love Russian black teas. Kusmi tea is my favorite brand. I drink it every morning while I do my crossword. They also have wellness teas that are great if you need a lift. I like protein in the morning, so eggs are my go-to, and ham, beans or spinach, with maybe a stewed tomato. The English really got it right. That usually holds me over until dinner, honestly. I’ll have a very light lunch but not much more than a simple salad or vegetable soup.
Deborah Ann Woll loves tea.
Was that clear?
I feel like it’s necessary to tell you I’m literally going to make some as I write this article.
To finish up their discussion about dieting, Woll gives two great tips on having a healthy relationship with food:
What foods and drinks make your skin feel its best? Its worst?
I can’t say I’ve really noticed a difference. I generally eat and drink really well. I’ll indulge, but I’m good at keeping it reasonable. I can have ten chips and stop – and I know that can be a real struggle for some people. I realize that I am extremely fortunate to have a healthy relationship with food. I’ve listened to people talk about the stress they feel and the shame, and my heart goes out to them. No one should have to feel shame for eating anything. I wish there was more support and less criticism in this country for things like that.
What’s always in your fridge?
Seltzer. I used to drink soda regularly, but a few years ago I cut back to only every so often, as a treat. So seltzer is a great way to curb that craving when it rears its ugly head.
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to HAVE the strict guidelines.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting(something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.

Deborah Ann Woll Workout Routine Research
Even with that flood of awesome information about Deborah Ann Woll’s diet, she still has more to say about her training for us!
Thank you Woll and The New Potato!
They ask about her workout, and Woll is kind enough to give a lengthy answer for us to turn into a workout plan:
What workouts do you love? Which do you think are overrated?
I love weight lifting! I know a lot of women don’t want to do it or won’t go heavy because they’re worried about bulking up, but really we don’t have enough testosterone for that to happen. You’d have to take actual steroids to get “bulky.” I love what it does for my body and my metabolism. I rarely feel hungry and I’m pretty sure that’s because of my muscles. I also like that I can see the results. I’m not very easily motivated to exercise. For me, the reward has to be more than the work required or I’ll fizzle out a few weeks in. But after only the first few weeks of working with my trainer Ronnie, I started to see my arms get cut. It’s really cool and very motivating. I also enjoy dancing around my place like a maniac. I highly recommend it! Put on some awesome tunes, turn down the lights, and go nuts!
I love this quote Woll so much.
Not only because she knows weight lifting won’t make her bulky, and not only because she knows why, but also because she’s so enthusiastic about her training, while still saying she isn’t even very easily motivated…
That’s why I recommend both the Ladies – Glutes, Tone and Slim for women to cut weight, and also the Bulk and Strength for them to gain weight (which is the same weight-gain program I recommend the SHJ men).
Oh, and expect to see some dancing in this routine.
Are you ready? We’re going to do a bit of a typical weight lifting/trainer programming while adding in some activity days.
