Did you realize Endgame is coming?
Because it is.
And we’re preparing for it just like they did in Infinity War by sending in The Black Order.
We’ve already seen The Black Dwarf, and now it’s time for Proxima Midnight.
We’re also even going to be seeing two celebrities that have had their role in the movie confirmed, but their specific characters haven’t been announced or listed!
It’s a fun week of Thanos preparation.
As I said in Black Dwarf’s article: big and powerful is meeting nimble and lean for these two articles!

Height: 6’6-7’3
Weight: 480 lbs.
Real Name: Proxima Midnight
Powers: Yes
Holy crap!
I wrote about Valkyrie being huge on the last post, but this is just another level…
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’ve seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4 – but neither come close to Proxima Midnight’s 6’6-7’3.
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero!

Proxima Midnight Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hellboy may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Proxima Midnight Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
This is where I get to break down the “how” and “why” of the workout we’re going to build based on the characters, in this case Proxima Midnight’s, powers and/or abilities.
And in this case I’ll list her powers, abilities, weaponry, and a little bit more about what her Wiki Fandom gives us as a bit of a background story as well (similar to what I did for Black Dwarf).
Here’s what they give us for the powers and abilities section:
Nigh Invulnerability
Superhuman Strength

If you’re wondering, this is what Nigh Invulnerability is (from Superhero/Marvel Fandom):
The user is immune to almost all kinds of damage, be it physical (internal or external), mental, spiritual and even conceptual. The user can be immune to all those damage except for one or more exceptions.
Sounds pretty sweet.
And they also make sure to tell us about her signature spear:
Weaponry: Spear: Proxima wielded a spear forged for her by Thanos. It was created from a sun trapped in distorted space-time, acting and operating as a star, supernova, and black hole at once. Once thrown, it may become a lance of multi-arcing energy carrying the tremendous mass of its template sake, since Proxima suggested that she was able to exert control over its density. An arm which never misses its mark, it acts as a lethal projectile endowed with constant velocity, or some form of energy netting which turns jet black after ensnaring, weighing down, and effectively immobilizing a target. It must first hit a target to cause this effect. The lance also carries an incredibly lethal toxin with it upon contact, which can kill about anything be it flesh or even living energy within moments. The appellation was powerful enough to match and bind the virtually limitless strength of the Hulk, as well as revert him back to Bruce Banner once upon drawing it out of him.
But that background information to her spear is kind of just a tease – and I don’t know about you – but I feel like I need more.
So let’s talk more about her as a character.
Here’s just another glimpse of her background story:
Proxima Midnight was a member of Thanos’ Black Order, and one of the best combatants of the Mad Titan’s army. When Thanos targeted Earth as the next planet he would raze, Proxima Midnight was dispatched to Atlantis to retrieve Namor’s Infinity Gem. But first she would opt to (literally) make landfall in the heart of New York City after the Avengers’ main team went off to battle against the Builders in space, in order to make way for the decimation of Earth as a tribute to her dark master. Taking a contingent of Thanos’s army where she would proceed to lay waste to the city and its denizens, eventually coming into conflict with Luke Cage and the latest incarnation of the Mighty Avengers.
I admit, still a tease, but if you want more you’ll just have to jump into the comics.

Proxima Midnight Workout Routine
Training Volume:
5 days a week
Explanation:
I was originally going to program 7 days per week, but then I remembered we’re mere humans and we have to rest in order to grow. If you want to have active off days devoted to moving (like hiking, sports, yoga, etc), you can – but I’d also consider devoting them to some more mixed martial arts training as well. Proxima Midnight is a master combatant after all.
Spear Training:
Now I know a barbell isn’t comparable and you’ll need to train with a spear to get good at it, BUT, I don’t want to program hammer or spear training and then have people who don’t have access to this type of training miss out – so we’re going to do more training focused around having two hands on the barbell for this one.
