We’re about to be saved by the Avengers.
And they’re backed by some strong ass women.
Part of that group is Letitia Wright’s Shuri.
Wright went from roles such as Humans, Black Mirror, The Commuter and Doctor Who to starring in Black Panther, Ready Player One, and The MCU.
But it didn’t happen out a shear luck!
Wright works her butt off and knows she’s meant to have a positive impact on this world.
Letitia Wright Stats:
Height: 5’6
Weight: (approximate) 115 lbs
Age: 25 years old
Letitia Wright is right in the average height among female celebs at SHJ.
And for a while we were seeing a handful around the 5’7-5’8 range, but the world is back in order with Wright and our last female celeb (Naomi Scott) coming in at 5’6.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and among the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.
I write these routines for anyone and everyone.

Letitia Wright Diet and Nutrition
Similar to our last celeb Hiroyuki Sanada, Letitia Wright doesn’t have much information out about her nutrition.
From the looks of it she tries to practice a healthy diet, especially due to some rough patches.
One thing that I think is relevant about Letitia Wright’s health (which I feel is okay to share due to her outspokenness about it), is her mental health.
In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald they state with Wright’s follow-up about it:
The condition dogged her on and off until her early 20s. At its worst, she stayed in her darkened room, stopped eating and refused to communicate with others.
“It was very, very bad and I didn’t know a way out,” she reveals. “I had many days at my mum’s where she didn’t even know what to do. She was like, ‘What is going on with you?’ Because we don’t know about that stuff in Guyana, so we don’t take it seriously and it’s like a taboo to feel like that.”
And in an interview with Vanity Fair and Teen Vogue she states:
VF: “I was in the dark going through so many bad things, when the world didn’t know about Shuri and Letitia and whatever is happening now.”
TV: “in the black community, it’s something that happens, but we don’t speak about it. We have to continue to talk about it and bring it straight to the forefront.”
But now that she’s in front of it she continues by telling the Sydney Morning Herald:
“Ever since then, everything’s just been really, really positive in my life. Yes, I have difficult days, like everybody else, but I deal with those difficult days differently.
“I don’t feel those depressive feelings any more. I just feel so free and happy. So yeah, I won’t hide my faith, because it’s helped me so much. God has been my way out.”
Letitia wears her Christianity proudly, regularly sharing religious quotes on social media and urging others to come to Jesus.
While some of this might not seem to impact one’s diet and nutrition, it does say a lot about Wright’s overall progression with her health and some hard times she has gone through.
Now she overcomes them by practicing positivity in all aspects of life, including what we can assume is her nutrition (which as we know is a vital piece of our puzzle).
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.
That’s why our Academy Nutrition Classes (Monks, Minimalists, SuperHumans, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Greek Gods, Samurais) revolve around helping you find the specific diet that is right FOR YOU.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to HAVE the strict guidelines.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs opt for specific restrictions.
For example: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting(something I use daily as well), Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.
You can check out our Nutrition Pillars for more information and articles on all of the above and more.

Letitia Wright Workout Routine Research
Letitia Wright does not seem to follow a strict training plan on an everyday basis.
But, as I shared, she does practice positivism in many aspects of her life.
That being said, she WAS put through some brutal training, like our other Marvel Stars, for her role as Shuri in Black Panther.
She worked with celeb fitness trainer Corey Calliet who trained Michael B. Jordan for Creed, and then returned to train many from the Black Panther cast.
Calliet tells People Magazine this about his training of the Black Panther cast:
“I like to set up circuits. You do each movement for 30 seconds, then you take a break, get the heart rate down to get it right back up,” he says. “The reason why I like doing it so much is because it’s the fastest and the most effective way to burn fat.”
He follows up, talking about Angela Bassett specifically, while using these techniques for most of the cast:
“It’s a very hard 45 minutes to an hour because you’re going all the time, and I don’t give too many breaks unless you’re about to puke, faint or die,” he says. “You have bring the pain every day when we train. It’s the only way you’re going to get the results to look amazing on the screen.”
He wants to particularly work on toning lower body for the role.
“It’s the biggest muscle group, so you’re going to burn a lot of calories while doing it,” he explains. “I’m going through a lot of old-fashioned moves — lunges, squats, leg extensions, leg curls, but in the HIIT form. I’m not going to do too many hard, sculpting movements; this is more conditioning, taking what she already has — the great foundation of the body she has — and make it better.”
So expect to see some high intensity interval training, lower body focus, and circuit training!
Your cardiovascular system is going to love this intensity.

Letitia Wright Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3-6 days per week
Explanation:
Letitia Wright doesn’t follow a strict workout routine on a regular basis, but she did go through some grueling workout regimes for her roles as Shuri. I’m going to be programming you a 3 day plan that you can use up to 6 days a week that resembles her training for Black Panther – but also give you a day for yoga, meditation, other forms of activity, Pilates, and other suggestions just for everyday life outside of MCU training.
Circuit Training Explanation:
In this routine specifically we’re following the type of circuit training celeb trainer Corey Calliet likes to utilize. You’re going to perform an exercise for 30 seconds, rest 30-60 seconds (depending on how long it takes you specifically to get your heart rate back down), and then move onto the next.

Letitia Wright Workout: Everyday Positivism and Focus
The above workout, as I said, can be utilized in a 3-6 day weekly split.
That’s similar to the programming from the Black Panther cast’s training (as we’ve seen a handful of others on the site already as well).
That being said, Letitia Wright doesn’t necessarily follow this on a daily basis.
I would recommend utilizing meditation, yoga, Pilates, and other activity to get yourself going and healthy on a more day by day basis if you’re looking to step into the 365 lifestyle of Letitia “Shuri” Wright.
