Dove Cameron was requested right there with Ariana Grande.
And I MAY have had to look her up.
But to be fair I just didn’t realize she was from Agents of SHIELD.
Other than Agents of SHIELD she’s also voiced Gwen Stacy for quite a few different things (usually Ghost-Spider), and seems to be most known for her role in Descendants and Liv and Maddie.
And now I’m a Dove Cameron fan.
She’s been in a lot of fun roles!
Dove Cameron Stats:
Height: 5’2
Weight: (approximate) 115 lbs.
Age: 22 years old
Like Ariana Grande, Dove Cameron becomes another addition to the shortest women we’ve featured at SHJ.
Don’t worry though, there are a handful of others right there with her.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and amongst the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.

Dove Cameron Diet and Nutrition
Dove Cameron has recently been open about her eating disorder.
She states:
“I’ve never said this before, but I had such a bad case of anorexia,” the 22-year-old revealed to Stylecaster this week. “I was so badly down that hole. I was not eating for days sometimes. But it was because I thought I needed to be absolutely tiny to be loved. I genuinely thought I needed to be as skinny as I possibly could to be loved and appreciated and good enough.”
And she continues to talk more on it, saying:
“I started to watch some people that I knew personally go so far down the not-eating hole of trying to be so skinny,” she continued. “Because that’s such a thing in Hollywood. We never want to say it, but it’s such a big thing.”
“It made me so personally upset,” she said. “That’s a blatant lie. That’s not OK. That’s not a role model. I realized that if I was going to be a role model then I needed to live like the girls that I needed when I was young.”
“It’s so much more important for me, for my young fans … to normalize something that can help so many people than it is to hide under the guise of having a perfect life,” she said. “How boring is that? I don’t want to live under that pressure. I don’t want to be dishonest.”
Dove Cameron continued to state that she has worked “really hard” to now become healthy. She closed by saying “”As long as my life is happy and healthy, so is my worldview,”.
We’ve seen a lot of celebs fight for body positivity and let young men and women know it’s okay to be happy and healthy.
This is right there with that!

Dove Cameron Workout Routine Research
Dove Cameron has shared some great information about both her training and her morning routine.
Her morning routine, which is shared with Elle (link to the video version) includes yoga styled stretching and journaling, but she does mention that it would normally include a workout if she didn’t have a busier day scheduled.
She also shares some information about her training for Descendants 3 with us via Twitter:
20 minute stair master level 10, 20 minute bike level 8, 10 minute elliptical level 10×10, 10 minutes body weight booty work. lotsa water #descendants3PREP
There’s clearly a heavy focus on cardio to accelerate fat-loss, but she also adds in 10 minutes worth of “booty work”.
Don’t worry. We can definitely add in 10 minute of body-weight-booty-work!
And we’ll even keep the workout routine nice and simple with cardio as listed above.
On busier days we’ll focus on stretching and getting in some form of cardiovascular activity (even if that’s just counting our steps like Ariana Grande!).

Dove Cameron Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3+ days per week
Explanation:
We’re going to utilize Cameron’s cardio/booty buster workout 3 days a week. The other days of the week we’re going to make sure to track our steps like Ariana (12,000-15,000), OR utilize other forms of cardio, OR some of Coach Derek’s mixed martial arts routines (as we know for shows like Agents of SHIELD actors/actresses are often very active and going through other forms of training).

When you can’t make it to the gym, make sure to get moving some other way. Count your steps 10,000-20,000 for the day, go hiking, play sports, or even do some yoga like Cameron!
