We’re back for some more Anime Cosplay and Workouts!
Last week we saw Shoto Todoroki and Ochako Uraraka cosplay workout and guides and the week prior we hit Deku and Asui in the regular workout category; while we had already seen All Might in the past.
But now it’s time for some Demon Slayer!
Don’t worry if you think we’re missing out on Tanjiro Kamado, by the way, I specifically chose Inosuke Hashibira and Nezuko Kamado because they’re the hottest cosplay selections from Demon Slayer right now!
If you don’t already know, this is our new category that I announced I’ll be starting due to the high demand in cosplayers we have hitting the site, but it’s also an opportunity for me to give you secondary options to the main character workouts that will be slightly more generic and beginner-intermediate oriented; whereas the character workouts get pretty high volume when we begin talking about our overpowered characters!
Inosuke Hashibira Stats:
Height: 5’4 1/2
Weight: 139 lbs.
Real Name: Inosuke Hashibira
Oh yeah we’re back with the half inches and exact stats.
We saw them from My Hero Academia as well and I’m here to tell you: they matter!
Vegeta were tied Wolverine for the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4.  Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Inosuke Hashibira Diet and Nutrition
This is normally where (in the character workouts at least) I’d throw you guys a nice copy paster to give you some links to awesome dietary guidelines.
The celebrity workouts get their own custom planning based around what that celebrity does, but the characters are very contingent on specific goals/starting points.
The same is going to be done here, but I’m going to be making some changes to help you out a little bit more. So I’m going to start by suggesting what I think is the best Superhero Program for this cosplay if you choose to step it up a notch. Of course, you can really step it up a notch and join our Academy to get access to everything we have to offer, but if not, you might want to check out The Program Shop for other options or even take The Program Selection Quiz to help you out.
Either way, my suggestion would be:Â The Cut and Shred
Which brings us to our information from the character workouts if you’re looking to go the free-route (which is totally fine):
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Inosuke Hashibira Cosplay Information (and Options)
Now it’s time to not transform your body, but rather your attire.
That’s right, it’s the NEW fun part.
As you can tell from the picture above (and throughout the article as well), Inosuke Hashibira cosplay has a couple options (and I didn’t even include later seasons cosplay which I’ll be sharing below).
You can definitely have some fun with this.
Here’s some suggestions, and I tried to diversify it:
The Good Stuff:
**These are not the budget options. These are from our friends over at EZCosplay and are NOT simply “Halloween Costumes” but cosplay outfits that are made to transform you into these characters.**
Amazon Budget Route:
**These are budget options that are from Amazon and may be simply Halloween Costume items, but are also the top options we suggest from the platform.**
Inosuke Hashibira Sword Prop
And there you have it.
Along with this killer workout I’m going to build for you to turn you into Inosuke Hashibira, these are our favorite options for his outfit.

Inosuke Hashibira Workout Routine Information (and Research)
So we have some more fun (although may not as much) in this section.
Here I’ll be giving you a bit of a bio and also utilizing what we’ve discussed in the section above (and some more) to break down what we’ll be looking to achieve with this workout routine I’ll be building for you.
So let’s start at Demon Slayer Wiki Fandom with a bit of a biography for Inosuke Hashibira:
Inosuke Hashibira is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slaying Corps and traveling companion of Tanjiro Kamado.
Now that you know what we’re workin’ with here, we can get into a bit more (mainly because I want to).
Here’s a bit more of his appearance information:
Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age, possessing large, defined muscles most notably over his stomach and arms. In sharp contrast to this, he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face, with large, wide eyes that are framed by an array of long eyelashes, their irises a dark to soft pale green, thin eyebrows and what could be a small, well-mannered mouth. His thick, black hair reaches just past his shoulders, fading into blue at the tips and forming an unruly and uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes, puffing out before curving and thinning towards his forehead.
Which they actually continue with:
Inosuke wears his altered version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, which consists only of the baggy hakama pants, his tinted a dark gray-blue, which he fastens around his hips with a thick belt of fluffy brown animal fur. The usual cloth leg-wraps are replaced with what appear to be knee-high socks of furry hide which expose his heels and toes, which also appear to be what fastens the sandal-bases he wears on his feet. His most defining feature is the gray, hollowed-out boar’s head he wears as to mask his own, the eyes of which he has tampered with to allow himself vision while wearing it, which has been revealed to have belonged to his late adoptive boar mother.
And if you REALLY want to step it up a notch and fully embody Insuke Hashibira you can step into his personality as well, which we’re told is:
Inosuke is an extremely short-tempered and proud young man who always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. This often leads him into unnecessary danger, since he tends to overestimate his abilities in comparison to who it is he’s fighting and refuses to accept when he’s been defeated, which can be seen when Giyu Tomioka literally has to tie him up after his fight with the Father Spider Demon to prevent him challenging the Pillar to a fight while still severely injured from his previous battle. This constant wanting to be the best can also cause Inosuke to be very provocative, as he often tries to goad others, most prominently Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him him, although in the case of the latter he usually fails due to Tanjiro’s obliviously kind nature.
Due to him having been raised by boars, Inosuke has also been shown to possess little understanding of normal human interaction, at least at the time of his debut, as he seems to frequently assume that people who approach him want to attack him, and doesn’t appear to understand the kindness others show him.
I’m all about taking these characters from physique to personality, BUT, feel free to completely ignore that section and head right to the workout.
As you can see from Inosuke’s appearance we’re going to be going for a bit of a muscular physique, but also slim and toned (I suppose you can’t be THAT jacked at a mere 15 years old).
Although, we’re definitely going to want to work extra hard considering this cosplay requires you to be shirtless.
For the sake of the cosplay that I suggest I will focus in on a couple things:
- Muscular and Toned
- Slim and Shredded
That should get you guys right into the character’s physique.
The mentality and personality is going to be all on you!

Inosuke Hashibira [Cosplay] Workout
Training Volume:
5 days per week
Explanation:
This is a slim and functional physique; and one that is definitely on the side of being more toned/shredded than big/bulky. For that reason, this is the exact routine I’d utilized if I needed to have program for myself to cosplay this one. It focuses on cutting extra fat with all the extra cardio to get lean, while hitting all the muscles needed for the extra toning.
Difficulty Level:
Intermediate
When we do our celebrity and character workouts we base the difficulty level off of their routines/their powers. For this one it’s just a judgement call on how I believe we can best get you looking like each character. For that reason I’m providing a level for each.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.

I tend to stay clear of the bike being that it’s a bit too easy to not work that hard on it, and I’d suggest doing the same with the Elliptical if you’re one that won’t click that “Level Up” button and work your butt off!
