The majority of people who show up to Superhero Jacked are looking to lose weight.
Generally that’s with the hopes to prioritize fat loss.

The priority here is to help you unleash your inner superhuman, but to do it in a way that doesn’t force you to sacrifice your humanity.
Throughout the course of this article we’ll be covering choosing your goals and your workout routine [style] and nutrition plan to match, while also making a plan for accountability and motivation.

Choosing Your Goal
First up on the list is your initial goal(s).
Zoning in one your goal rather than getting caught up into the mix of multiple goals (which I’ll discuss in a second) is SO much more efficient and effective.
We have a ton of members who would love to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time, but it’s just not possible, and then they end up jumping back and forth and slowing down their overall progress.
In many instances you CAN gain muscle while losing weight/fat, but you need to land in one of the three categories:
- You are overweight (considered obese on a BMI scale)
- You are new to resistance training
- You are on performance enhancing drugs
Or, of course, any mixture of the three.
There are so many variables when it comes to tracking your nutrition and therefore being able to manipulate your weight (gain muscle and/or lose fat) so making sure we focus on one goal at a time is almost always the right plan.
In a couple sections from now we’ll discuss your nutrition and it’ll be your job to use the tools and resources I share to focus on those goal(s).
In a recent article I also discussed how to maintain muscle during lifting breaks, lack of weights, and major programming changes to help people with their lack of gym access, and in it I also discuss major body types that are generally goals for our members.
It could be extremely helpful to give that article, or even that specific section, a read through as well!
Finding The Right Workout Routine
We have TONS of options.
Like I said above, we have the largest database of celebrity and character-inspired workout routines on the entire internet, so you’re in good hands.
We also have a wide array of different workout STYLES.
I’m talking about parkour, calisthenics, powerlifting, circuit training, boxing, running, CrossFit, MMA, weightlifting, and more!
At SHJ and in my individual case studies in my book, Superhuman Secrets, I dissected many celebrities and the world’s top performers’ workouts. With that, do note that there are some prominent styles, but there’s a ton that doesn’t make it to the limelight as well.

Finding The Right Nutrition Plan
Do note that roughly around 80% of your transformation is going to take place with your nutrition.
Celebrities constantly mention nutrition as the ultimate factor in their transformations for a role that they’re playing.
By sacrifice, they mean hours spent in the gym for intense training. They’re also referring to the notion to skip drinking, going to a fancy restaurant, and living their daily routine to pave the way for their nutrition.
Our SHJ Nutrition System is based on a 4-Tier-Nutrition-System that revolves around all The Top Diets Used Among Celebrities and the research that went into my book. But the celebrities who maintain their transformations are the ones that stay true to their nutrition, yet they allow cheat meals as well.
