It’s time to add our first Beastars character to our list of Anime Inspired Workouts!
Legoshi was one of the top two requested Beastars’ characters, and he just seemed like the best fit for a workout to be built off of him.
We have a handful of other wolves in our Workout Database, whether that’s coming from superhero character inspiration, or even celebrities who have portrayed wolves in movies and shows; but I believe he will be our first ever anime inspired workout for a wolf to be joining our Anime Workouts Database.
And obviously I expect you guys out there in The SHJ Army to correct me if I’m wrong considering we have over 1,000 workouts now.
Legoshi Stats:
Real Name: Legoshi
Height: 6’2
Weight: 170 lbs.
Anime: Beastars
Powers: No
Legoshi comes in at what we’d consider average height range among male celebrities, and what seems to be similar for characters as well.
But his height and weight ratio is actually MUCH lighter than I was expecting for a wolf.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Legoshi Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Legoshi Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To start us off we’re going to be pulling right from Legoshi’s Wiki Fandom to learn a bit about his character and see what we’re working with in building out this program.
Here’s what they tell us about him:
Legoshi, also referred to as Legosi, is a male gray wolf and the main protagonist of Beastars. Though feared and misjudged by others for being a tall carnivore, he is actually quite mild-mannered, docile and awkward. Legoshi has taken it upon himself to solve the mystery of the murder of Tem and later finds out first hand the extent of the prejudices of the world he lives in.
Deeper into his personality and longer bio information they also state:
He is quite gifted physically, with a lean build and a jaw strength of 295 kg, which is 95 kg higher than the average for his species.
Which is all before they actually get into his powers and abilities section.
And above I actually listed “no” for his powers, because technically Legoshi is a wolf; so if we count THAT as a power, then it should theoretically say yes, but his abilities and “powers” come directly from that fact.
Here’s what they list for us:
Detective: Legoshi was able to solve Tem’s murder by himself, without any form of help from either a police detective or anyone else. When he got attacked by the culprit behind and got his eyes covered, Legoshi kissed his mouth to identify his saliva. He also discovered that the killer is a male when he asked Juno to open her mouth to see the difference between the mouth of a carnivore male and female. Later, he drank the bottles from the male students’ locker to recognize the taste of the saliva, but he discovered who was the killer when he found a letter threatening him inside the locker.
Strength Without Meat: Legoshi is able to gain strength without having to eat meat. It was possible for him due to the training he had with Gohin. By capturing the savage carnivores, wearing a muzzle (he was not allowed to bite in the training) and controlling his instincts, inside the room with huge meat in front of him. He lost the strength in his mandible, because the strength now have passed for his arms. He may have inherited it from his Komodo dragon grandfather Gosha. However, the strength doesn’t work against big animals. During his fight with Riz, he had to eat meat to defeat him.
So we are actually going to be training for strength and also a fairly lean build.
We won’t be looking to technically bulk up all that much, but rather a more Superhuman style lean and athletic build with strength training at the front of our focus.
Think you can handle it?

Legoshi Workout Routine
Training Volume:
4 days per week
Explanation:
We’re going to be training for 4 days of fairly basic strength training for this one. We don’t have to overdue it as Legoshi isn’t sporting a SUPER lean and toned physique and doesn’t have overpowered strength, but we will focus on achieving strength building while looking to acquire a muscular and toned physique as well.

Who knows how long do we have to train in order to achieve the goal for?
That’s impossible to know. All depends on your starting point, how much movement you get per day, and most importantly your diet. So we’d have ZERO clue how to answer per person unless they were a client we are working with.
