We’re back for even more DBZ characters this week.
And it’s the final week before our big Mega Path launch.
Last month the first ever Mega Path dropped inside The Academy. The Robin to Nightwing Mega Path features multiple workouts that lead you from beginner Robin to advanced Nightwing.
Now, in August, we’ll be releasing the Kakarot to Goku Mega Path!
We had The Minimalist Path which was also The Nightwing Path, and we also have The Saiyan Path, and I believe they’re the most used paths within The Academy, so it’s only right these are our first two Mega Paths.
(Mega Paths come in comic-style packet that advances you through progression related to a specific character’s journey).
We have seen a decent handful of other DBZ and DB Super characters, though.
Here’s some of them: Goku, Vegeta, Toppo, Ribrianne, Kefla, Jiren, Videl, Broly, Kale, Caulifla, Gohan, and Piccolo.
We’re wrapping this month up with Trunks and Frieza!
Frieza Stats:
Height: 5’2 (Final Form)
Weight: N/A
Real Name: Frieza
Powers: Yes
The Saiyans are short, and for the most part, so is Frieza.
He does have some forms that make him a bit taller, but his normal form and final form are his shortest.
Vegeta were tied Wolverine for the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
Just above them are Aquaman, Red Hood and Punisher standing only an inch or so taller.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
And, of course, Hulk and Broly are both up there with them, and sometimes even portrayed much taller.
Yeah, that means All Might was the tallest at 7’2, only sometimes surpassed by The Hulk – and Zangief just missing the tallest spot at 7’0!
And I say “was” because Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Frieza Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hellboy may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!

Frieza Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
This is where I get to break down the “how” and “why” of the workout we’re going to build based on the characters, in this case Freiza’s, powers and/or abilities.
It’s time for the finale that brings us to the Kakarot to Goku Mega Path dropping in The Academy next week and I think it is a perfect lead in with Frieza.
But before we get into it, let’s go over a quick bio for Frieza:
Frieza (フリーザ Furīza) is the de facto ruler of Universe 7, who controlled his own imperial army and feared for his ruthlessness and power. He is the descendant of Chilled, the second son of King Cold, the younger brother of Cooler, and the father of Kuriza. Frieza is the catalyst antagonist of the entire franchise, as it is his actions that led to Goku arriving on Earth. He has made several comebacks since his fight with Goku on Namek, including multiple invasions of Earth. Recently, he has been chosen to represent Universe 7 as the tenth member of Team Universe 7 for the Tournament of Power as a replacement for Good Buu. This makes him the most recurring villain of the Dragon Ball series. After the events of the Tournament of Power, he is revived and recovers his title as Emperor of Universe 7.
Frieza is the main antagonist of the Namek, Frieza, Trunks, Gods of the Universe, and Golden Frieza Sagas. He is also the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku special and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ film. He later serves as a villainous protagonist in the Universe Survival Saga and secondary antagonist in the Broly Saga.
Frieza has been there through it all! And now he’s here to wrap us up.
I’m sure Goku would approve.
As far as Frieza’s strength, his main Wiki page gives us a round up with:
Frieza is capable of moving at superhuman speeds, flying, and has quick reflexes. Like most characters in the series, he can harness a supernatural energy known as Ki and manipulate it into powerful and devastating concussive beams of said energy, with which he is able to destroy planets with relative ease. Some of Frieza’s signature ki techniques include the Death Beam (デスビーム Desu Bīmu), a sharp piercing beam from his finger, and the Death Ball (デスボール Desu Bōru), a large energy sphere he used to destroy planet Namek. He is capable of surviving in the vacuum of space, and also seems to possess some form of telekinesis, being able to lift opponents without touching them and cause them to explode.
Frieza’s power was so great over time, that his body could not comfortably contain it and a series of physical transformations were developed that limit his actual strength. While changing shape from his “first-form”, each alteration builds on the previous. In all, Frieza has three transformed states, each with increasing power, some larger than others and each resulting in different physical attributes, although the two transformed states (along with his first form) were merely to suppress Frieza’s power, and that his third transformed state is actually his true form, while a fourth further transformation that he discovered after his four months of training actually increases his power drastically and lets out most of his latent strength.
And his ComicVine list of abilities and powers is even longer than most of our Saiyans!
You asked for it!
Here’s what ComicVine shares:
Adaptive, Agility, Berserker Strength, Blast Power, Density Control, Energy Shield, Energy-Enhanced Strike, Flight, Force Field, Heat Vision, Ice Control, Implants, Insanely Rich, Intellect, Invulnerability, Leadership, Levitation, Light Projection, Radar Sense, Shape Shifter, Stamina, Super Speed, Super Strength, Telekinesis, Unarmed Combat, Wind Bursts
Yeah, I wasn’t kidding.
We’re going to have to step it up a notch.
Think you can handle it?
