We’ve seen over 50 CW Network Celebrity Workouts and Diets, and Jensen Ackles is actually joining multiple lists.
He’s joining our CW celebrities and will also be a part of our upcoming Boys celebrity/character listicle as well.
Jensen Ackles Workout and Diet has been repeatedly asked for since we saw Jared Padalecki’s Workout, who plays Sam in the Sam and Dean duo of Supernatural.
Well now it’s time to give the people what they want.
Regardless of whether you’re here to see Ackles because he’s your Dean, your Red Hood or your Soldier Boy, we’re about to break it down for you.
Jensen Ackles Stats:
Height: 6’1
Weight: (approximate) 180 lbs.
Age: 42 years old
Jensen Ackles actually stands right around average height among male celebrities we’ve seen.
Which I’m actually surprised by, being that I expected him to be 5’10-5’11; although that could be because he’s normally standing next to Jared Padalecki who is 6’3-6’4!
The average height falls in the range of 6’1-6’3 with celebs like Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Adam Driver, Stephen Amell, Clive Standen and so many more.
Guys around 5’10-6’0 are dudes like Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Jason Statham, but the ACTUAL shorter range is filled with guys like Mark Wahlberg, Zac Efron, Kit Harington, Tom Holland and more.
Even taller than them are guys like The Mountain, Joe Manganiello, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Winston Duke, Alexander Skarsgard and a few others.
But, don’t worry either way.

Jensen Ackles Diet and Nutrition
In an interview with Jared Padalecki (who is Ackles co-star as Sam and Dean in Supernatural) and Ackles at Comic Con Padalecki discusses how their characters and their eating habits are actually probably what should be considered opposite.
What he meant by that was the fact that Ackles character Dean in the show is usually seen downing burgers, milkshakes and fries while Sam is almost portrayed as more health concious.
In reality it’s Ackles who is healthier and Jared who eats everything in site!
Padalecki actually says:
“So our characters are actually the opposite of how it is. He [Ackles] probably uses me as inspiration for his character when he needs to do eating scenes.”
Past that there actually isn’t much information on Ackles overall diet, and from what he posts on his social media accounts like Instagram and Twitter it actually seems like he opts for a fairly healthy diet but eats more or less intuitively.
And, checking out his social media you can more-or-less confirm it with some swiping.
You’ll find beer, coffee, a variety of different food groups (no holding back) and some more beer!

And, that’s just to name a few celebs from each, by the way.

Jensen Ackles Workout Routine Research
Jensen Ackles workout routine is one that has been requested countless times, but also one that I have put off hosting at SHJ due to lack of information.
As you guys may know from our Start Here page, we make our workouts around research found all over the web, including directly from the celebrities interviews, coaches, and social outlets.
That being said: Ackles doesn’t have much information on any of them.
There are about two social media posts on Ackles Instragram that have any sign of training; with the rest of his posts that could potentially tell us anything being of him drinking beer or coffee.
One post from last year was from training for the Amica Seattle Marathon that him Padalecki and other co-stars did in order to raise money for children in need.
In the post (there were a couple in regards to the marathon and donations, etc. but this one in particular is something we can use) Ackles is running on a treadmill and says:
“Hey everybody, just getting some last minute mileage in before the big races Sunday. Just wanted to say, all kidding aside, I know we had a little fun with this training….or lack thereof…”
Before going on to talk more about the marathon and the cause.
Another post that dates back to a few years ago when Ackles was dabbling in some MMA training.
He says:
“A mid-day training session at @ancientfiredojo Happy Friday y’all!”
And the picture of him is a silhouette-like image with him and someone else with training mitts and gloves on.
Past that our assumption should be that he gets more of a workout hanging out with his kids and jumping on the trampoline (he has a couple videos of that on his Instagram as well) than he does in the gym.
As always, though, we will continue to update this page if any new training information comes out anywhere about Ackles!
I’m curious to see if he’ll start getting jacked up for The Boys Season Three!!!

Explanation:
For this one I’m going to build you a 3 day weight training and calisthenic program that is fairly low volume, but effective enough to get you into Ackles-like-Physique. I’ll also be adding in two days per week that can be utilized for running and/or MMA, which are both things we’ve seen Ackles utilize.
