When I first started researching Javicia Leslie’s workout routine and diet I was really worried I wasn’t going to be able to find much information.
Sometimes that happens with some newer up-and-coming actors and actresses.
To my surprise, there’s actually a decent amount of information out there already about Leslie discussing a bunch of different areas of her regime.
Some of them are what she did/does specifically to become and stay as Batwoman, and then other things are just the things she does in everyday life to stay looking amazing.

We need to start there so that this section immediately becomes more clear as that is a huge pillar a the basis in which she makes her daily nutrition choices.

Javicia Leslie Workout Routine Research
Luckily for us, between Shape and Looper we also have a full breakdown of Javicia Leslie workout regime as well.
Like we’ve seen from some other celebrity workout routines, Leslie sticks to a theme of being well-rounded and mixing in all different types of training.
In one of her Instagram posts she describes her dive into Muay Thai by saying:
Change is the only constant. Iโve decided to dive into a passion Iโve had for a while now. Since thereโs nothing but time, I really have no excuse. So I am going to document my Muay Thai journey with you all. This is only the beginning, so be kind to me, lol!
And learning new things and working into different aspects of training styles (and just in life in general) is nothing new for Leslie.
Here’s how she describes breaking into new areas while showing off some of her bo staff skills:
Anyone that knows me knows Iโm OBSESSED with learning new things, blame it on the Gemini in me ๐ฌ๐… So, keeping you guys up to date with my journey, hereโs my first ever attempt at bo staff! I knowwww, didnโt completely land my ending and my back leg needs to be straight
Looper also tells us all about her weight training regime, which Leslie documented fairly well on her social platforms.
They say:
In fact, her workout is so thorough โ involving multiple exercises for different muscle groups such as chest, core, back, arms and legs โ that it also offers an excellent primer for those looking for ideas about how to approach their own weight training program. You’ll never get bored, either, as Leslie’s vigorous sets also sport great variety. She uses kettlebells andย battle ropes, flips tires, and works out both outdoors and in the gym. And she doesn’t skimp on the brutal but most effective exercises like deadlifts, squats and lunges.
They follow this up letting us know that Leslie also adds in cardio, bodyweight training (which you can also find some clips of on her Instagram), stretching, a focus on core work, and of course her muay thai training!
So for this one we’re going to be revolving around a weight training program like Leslie, but we’ll also be fitting in her cardio, stretching and core work during those days as well, while leaving you some room and resources to add in some mixed martial arts as you’d like.
