Next up among our Tekken Inspired Workouts is Marshall Law, who is going to bring in an awesome new hybrid workout among our Tekken characters.
You guys have actually been requested a lot of different Tekken characters now that we have Tekken: Bloodline, so Marshall Law will just be another of many new Tekken characters to join our Anime Workouts Database.
We’re actually on a bit of a tear with fighter routines considering many of our most popular anime are already fighters and now we also brought in new databases for not just Tekken, but also our Street Fighter Inspired Workouts and even Mortal Kombat Inspired Workouts.
But, I prioritize Law right behind a couple of our other characters for a very specific reason that we’ll talk more about below.
Marshall Law Stats:
Real Name: Marshall Law
Height: 5’10 1/2
Weight: 152 lbs.
Anime: Tekken
Powers: Yes/No
Law is actually quite tall.
He’d come in just below average height if we compare him to male celebrities at SHJ, but compared to male anime characters he stands above average (ruling out our behemoths, of course).
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Marshall Law Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Marshall Law Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Marshall Law we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page which starts us off with this:
Marshall Law is an American fighter of Chinese descent who was introduced in the original Tekken game, and has returned for all subsequent Tekken games, except Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament (where he was replaced by his son, Forest Law, though he made a cameo in his son’s ending and in the opening in the former). He is a very close friend of Paul Phoenix and is married to Mrs. Law. He and his family have at various times owned a dojo and a restaurant.
This doesn’t tell us much in terms of how we’re going to be building out our workout, but it does give Law the background information he deserves here – just like our other characters we research.
To build on this background information they continue with this:
Marshall Law is a very talented martial artist. He’s mostly known for owning a dojo and then owning a restaurant (although he had to resort to being dishwasher in Japan since he was penniless after being defeated in the 4th tournament). Marshall is best friends with Paul Phoenix, despite having their fair share of arguments.
Marshall always wanted to teach in his own dojo, so when he heard the announcement of the King of the Iron Fist Tournament, he took this opportunity. Law would eventually draw against Wang Jinrei. Despite this, Marshall would eventually open his own dojo. Unfortunately, his dojo was attacked and all students were injured by a Dojang Master named Baek Doo San. Law was enraged and wanted to confront his attacker. Law entered the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2, he would eventually face his villainous assailant and successfully defeated him.
From there, though, they get into what we REALLY will be using for this workout.
Here’s what they tell us about Marshall Law’s concept:
Marshall Law is Namco’s tribute to legendary martial artist Bruce Lee. Every Tekken game has Marshall wearing at least one outfit similar to one worn by Bruce Lee in one of his movies. Law has also several throws that are in Bruce Lee’s films.
Now we know exactly what we’re looking to accomplish.
The goals for our Marshall Law Inspired Workout will be:
- Law’s Shredded and Muscular Physique
- Law’s Concept, Bruce Lee Training Methodology
- Law’s Fighter Body Control, Strength and Speed
How better to get this done than by pulling what we’ve already learned about Bruce Lee?
We have now researched Bruce Lee’s training methodology multiple times in our Bruce Lee Workout and Diet, and even within our Bruce Lee ab workout – which I’ll be using to build our Marshall Law Inspired Workout.
