Mitsuri Kanroji isn’t the first female Demon Slayer character we’ve had at SHJ – but she’s still just as exciting to add to our Anime Workouts Database.
As I mentioned in our other recent articles: Demon Slayer is right there with Jujutsu Kaisen as one of the most popular newer anime among the requests we get at SHJ.
We’ve already had a few other mini-workout-databases devoted to specific anime inspired workouts (specific to the show) and Demon Slayer, Jujutsu and One Piece are definitely looking like they’re next!
Plus it always helps that Mitsuri is one of the most popular characters among the many!

Height: 5’5
Weight: 123 lbs.

Mitsuri Kanroji comes in around average height range among female characters we’ve seen.
It’s also right there around average height if we compared her to celebrity females as well.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Mitsuri Kanroji Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Mitsuri Kanroji Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started we’ll be pulling a very brief bio from Mitsuri Kanroji’s Wiki Fandom page:
Mitsuri Kanroji is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Love Hashira.
They thankfully do go on to tell us a lot more within the different sections of her Wiki.
Here’s a small part of her appearance section:
Mitsuri is a young curvaceous woman with fair skin and round, pale green eyes with long eyelashes, a small beauty mark beneath each of them. She has long, light pink hair that fades into a lime green color at the halfway point, which she wears in three thick braids. She has five shorter, choppy clumps hanging over her face as voluminous bangs, the tips lime green as well. When she was trying to get married, her hair was dyed black in an attempt to make herself look more “normal.”
We’ll be specifically working with the curvaceous portion of that one.
Moving on we definitely get even more into the meat and potatoes when we begin talking about her abilities as a Demon Slayer.
They start us off by telling us about her overall abilities:
Overall Abilities: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is a very powerful swordsman. She is said to have completed the Final Selection within a mere six months of training, which Kyojuro considers outstanding. As the Love Hashira, Mitsuri utilizes a combat style based on “love”.
They also go on to tell us about all her individual abilities.
Her Wiki breaks it down like this:
Enhanced Strength: Since the age of one, Mitsuri possessed immense strength allowing her to carry heavy objects, some weighing about 120 pounds. In the battle against Muzan, Mitsuri was even able to physically grab hold of one of Muzan’s tentacles and rip it off, without the use of her blade.
Immense Speed & Reflexes: In her battle against Upper Rank 4, she is able to outpace his normal attacks, thus forcing the Upper Rank to start using Blood Demon Arts. After awakening her Demon Slayer Mark, her speed increases even further. That said, she is not as fast as some of her fellow Hashira, as shown in the battle against Muzan, where she struggled to keep up with him, forcing her to rely on luck and instinct to dodge. This proved unsuccessful as she was hit by multiple attacks, forcing her out of the fight entirely.
Immense Stamina & Endurance: In her battle against Hantengu, despite sustaining several injuries, she still lasted the longest out of Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado and Genya Shinazugawa, and stalled them long enough for them to win.
Enhanced Flexibility: As well as her body’s extreme physical strength and durability, Mitsuri also possesses incredible flexibility and nimble reflexes, being capable of dodging and outpacing Upper Rank Four’s attacks and making use of this unique constitution and flexibility to deliver powerful attacks.
And these abilities actually make the workout potential a lot of fun considering we can work around strength, speed, and endurance like a regular superhero but also add in yoga and stretching which is a bit different than we’re used to seeing – but SUPER effective for recovering.
I actually use this post-workout almost every day.
That means this one is actually going to be pretty intense, but also capable of being scaled if you’re not ready for the volume just yet.

Mitsuri Kanroji Workout Routine

Explanation:
We’re going to be training at a very high volume but using yoga and stretching to help aid in our recovery and also even aid in extra toning and core strength. We’ll be training with weights at a high intensity 4 days per week and then adding in minor stretching and some mandatory yoga and flexibility.
