We’re back for more Demon Slayer Inspired Workouts, but we’re switching it up and getting another female on our growing list!
This week we grew our list of Demon Slayer Inspired Workouts large enough to warrant it’s own mini-workout database and the next stop is some awesome listicles as well!
Without doing any preliminary research I think Kanao would easily make the most popular list, but potentially miss out on the most powerful.
There just happens to be a TON of powerful Demon Slayer characters out there…
Kanao Tsuyuri Stats:
Real Name: Kanao Tsuyuri
Height: 5’1
Weight: 101 lbs.
Anime: Demon Slayer
Powers: Yes
Kanao Tsuyuri is one of the shortest female characters we’ve seen at SHJ thus far, but definitely not the shortest.
Wendy Marvell recently even joined Caulifla at 4’8!
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Kanao Tsuyuri Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Kanao Tsuyuri Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started with building out this Kanao Tsuyuri workout we’re going to need to pull from her Wiki Fandom for some additional information.
Here’s what they give us for her initial bio section:
Kanao Tsuyuri is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu Kocho’s Tsuguko and the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho.
We have seen Shinobu already here at SHJ!
When we move into Kanao’s powers and abilities section we get another perspective of what we’ll be working with here while building her routine:
Overall Abilities: Kanao is the Tsuguko of Kanae and Shinobu and has been personally trained by the both of them in the art of combat. As such, Kanao possesses superhuman physical skills, abilities and prowess that potentially marks her as a future member of Demon Slayer Corps’ Hashira. Tanjiro, another promising candidate, even states that, during their first meeting together, he could already sense that Kanao was the closest to the Hashira out of the existing Demon Slayers, just by smelling her scent and feeling her aura, which further confirms her skills.
They then move on to tell us about some of those abilities as such:
Enhanced Strength: Kanao has attained incredible physical strength through harsh training. She can jump extremely high distances incredibly fast, showing her incredible leg strength. In terms of arm strength, she can swing her katana at subsonic speeds incessantly without tiring.
Immense Speed and Reflexes: Kanao is extremely fast. In the Rehabilitation Training Arc, she can outspeed Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira all at once before they mastered the Total Concentration: Constant. In the Sunrise Countdown Arc, she could keep up with Muzan Kibutsuji.
Immense Stamina and Endurance: Kanao has incredible stamina and endurance, albeit not as incredible as her peers. During her fight with Doma, she survived very long exerting herself to her limit.
Being that we’re going to be training around this much power but we’re technically build out our routine around Kanao’s petite frame we’ll be using calisthenics to accomplish this.
That means we’ll still be doing endurance training to build up stamina like hers, but the work towards our strength gains will come from strictly bodyweight training.

For this one we’re going to be utilizing two days of basic calisthenics and core training with some light cardio and then one day devoted to calisthenics circuit training and two devoted to strictly endurance and stamina work.
